Think I'd have gone for continuity and kept Leonardo Gabbanini after a decent summer transfer window, especially since Gretar Steinsson left just as the window opened - he was complimented by Don;ey (senior) for dealing with his son's new contract and pictured with Mikey Moore after getting Mikey and Calum Olusesi first pro contracts sorted.

ATM Spurs absolutely need to have a good next summer transfer window - lots of loanees to find new homes for and upgrades for a few first team players going to leave (both contracts ending and to upgrade players not at Spurs standard. With luck January's signing of an HG CB is already 'done' .

And then there is the loaning out of youngsters - which needs to start in January - after a gap of too many years.

So a team of experienced professionals at Spurs is essential - and continuity certainly helps, new DoF or not.

Spors name appeared to be linked to Nagelsmann getting the manager job.......
 
O Keefes best ITK of the summer was saying Alex Scott would be off to Bournemouth months before he did.

I think the problem is, there's a fair few people who take his footballing opinions as gospel.

I have no doubt he has connections at Spurs but I also some of what he says seems to come out after it's obvious (for reasons). Calling Gift Orban a mystery target we were after for months for example. After we got a random link.

Called the Raya off and Vicario transfer before most places got it.

Can't really think of much he got wrong?
 
Even in the manners Paratici is working now I'd keep him...and give him back his job once he's served his "sentence"...
Vicario, Phillips, van de Ven, Maddison, Solomon & Johnson have proven very good investments so far (ok, of course, not all credit goes to Paratici).

We'd been getting things right. Can do without the upheaval but if this was dictated by the bigger picture of what we're trying to get in place then fingers crossed and breath baited...... :angeshock:
