Man, I've been there. You turn up for training everyday, you look after your body so you're always in top shape, you give it all you've got, you do everything you gotta do to get a look in...you play hard, you listen to the coaches, you ask questions etc. Plus the guys playing every week are either tired, out of form or just garbage...but still you don't get picked. Even when the vast majority of your teammates (and some coaches) say you should and your captain goes speak with the gaffer about you...and it doesn't change. You talk to the boss yourself and he tells you that you ain't doing nothing wrong, just keep going and your time will come...but it never does...or he throws you on at 90+4. It's friggin frustrating, heart-breaking stuff.
I hope behind closed doors the kid is getting a proper explanation from Ange, cause if he serves him that same bullshit he did the Gold stooge, well poor lad.
