I watched him and its fucking obvious he has bags of talent he is an attacking fullback in a side with an attacking coach who works with not against his squad he can become an international footballer. Spence & Porro next season and flog Emerson now he's had a few good games and might have a bit of value.
Spence/Porro and Udogie/Perisic are some solid LB options. If a 4atb manager comes in then keep Perisic around as a utility forward and sign a LB I guess ... sell Sessegnon for whatever the hell we can get.

I'm glad that Porro is doing well. Its money the club spent and a cool person who has joined us that needs our support as fans/supporters.
Would anyone on here seriously argue that we needed Porro more than a new CB though?
Makes me cry. Imagine having young players actually excited to play and make their mark against the top talents in the game? Unfortunate that genius Conte has apparently not grasped this footballing axiom.
Makes me feel much more certain Conte was throwing a secret shit-fit all season behind the scenes with regards to team selection, "club signings" and the like. So disappointing...

No you are right. But you are not factoring Antonio Conte acting like Spence fingered his daughter. He just would not give the lad mins. I fully believe that if he had we had spent the money for Porro on just one competent Centerback we would not be in the mess we are. It's unforgivable behaviour on the part of a man earning 40k A DAY!

Good Lord those French are difficult to please...
Its objectively hilarious that we've spent £40m on a wing back when we had Spence who is clearly good enough. Hopefully Porro is even better and squad strength and all that but given the holes elsewhere its mind boggling.
Nowt wrong with having 2 good full backs, 3 if you count Emerson although I suspect he will be sold.
Absolutely nothing wrong with it. But its a lumpy fee when we need a keeper, 2 centre backs, an attacking midfielder and 2 wide forwards at least. Porro looks good but as a use of resources its questionable. Hopefully we'll recoup a bit on Emerson.
Yeah our recruitment is a bit of a mess however the man in charge hasn't used our squad properly IMO
But I see it as one less problem we need to deal with in the Summer.
