Player Djed Spence

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Another great game, again not on his natural side. Impressive consistency even out of position. Would love to see him at RB with a fully fit Udogie at LB...

Somehow (considering where he was) I feel like Spence is one of the key players for us now, he’s one of the first two or three names on the team sheet for me.

He’s been on a great run, though I have to say I’d really like to see him have a run on his natural side. Not because he’s played anything but well on the left, I’m just curious to see if it made a difference to the overall balance of our play.

I'm sorry but I seem unable to post gifs, because I'm posting the round of applause one mentally. The bit that some seem worryingly oblivious to, is the decision making by the coaches at the club. Spence's arc, is one of the most troubling things about their tenure. Why (what at the moment looks like the most talented footballer in the club) is being used to accommodate one of the worst is very much in keeping with their ineptitude.

I'd have so much more respect for these people if they had come and said 'blokes a dick head, as laid back as the Dude from the Big Labowski. None of us get him, so we are selling the wally' This would have been so much more honest and legitimate than playing to sterotypes and floating incoherent junk about not meeting the standards and attitude...STANDARDS! Porro would not get into some national league sides for months( mitigation tiredness I know).

But there's so much that's just obvious incompetence: the Europ list, the goal keepers, Reguilon, Spence, Gray Davis at centerback lately. Austin Whitemen Forsters peaking order. Donnely, the loans generally. Is that 12m on Kinsky smart when one looks at Keeley? Changing medical staff mid season. I've zero trust in the people calling the shots at Spurs from Levy down to every member of the coaching staff.
Here you go!

And Kosher Kid Kosher Kid too.

If it's obvious to me, then it should be obvious to the professionals coaching our team.
As I can't tell my left from my right, I'm not going to get involved in that discussion. But all I've seen in recent games is that Spence has put in MOTM performances, whichever side he's playing and his name should be one of the first on the team sheet. It would be the biggest "own goal" if he loses his place (unless it's to give him a rest).
As regards to Pedro, I love the guy and think we would see a better player if we pushed him forward.

Such a great and odd situation. Always looked like he more talent than Walker, Trippier, Aurier.

Strong, quick, very aggressive tackler, great control, good dribbler, decent passing. I mean skill wise everything you would want in a full back yet somehow managers didn’t play him, Genoa didn’t sign him for cheap. Couldn’t get my head around it, thought it must be attitude or maybe positioning or something. But now it’s like he is living upto the talent he has.

Tuchel plays wing backs, I mean who right now in England is playing better. No-one is, he must be looking at an England call up even an England start.

I like him on the left and I think if he could add more shots to his game he could be a real weapon bursting from the back coming in and having a hit. He had one yesterday that was comfortable for Onana but he could definitely do more of that.
He must be an absolute nightmare to play against.
He’s on another level from Udogie and Udogie doesn’t deserve to walk back into the team because he’s been torture all season.

Porro doesn’t deserve to lose his place either if Ange decided to switch him to right back. Porro has battled like fuck every game when players are falling down injured around him. He has been a warrior for us and always gives 100%. Thought Porro was very good yesterday.

Trent is pretty good fit for a Tuchel RWB,

After that it’s now a shootout between Spence and Livramento but Spence can play LWB and CB possibly. Hes basically the perfect tournament player because he’s class at his job but also versatile enough to cover elsewhere
