Not sure if toxic positivity, or positively toxic?
Do you guys have any type of secondary teams that you follow/Keep track of? Or is it Spurs all the way and Spurs only?

For example I've heard that there are a lot of Spurs fans, especially older ones who consider teams like Leyton their "second team". Do you guys have any? Could be outside of England as well of course.

I keep up with two teams in the Swedish leagues, Sundsvall because I grew up an hour outside of the city and it was the team we used to go see when I was a kid. And Gävle because I went to university there and it's the city where I currently work and I live just outside of it. None of them hold my alliance like spurs do but it is nice to keep track of them and it's always fun to be able to go to attend a game when it is just by your doorstep.

I also don't turn down a Leeds game on the TV if it airs, but that's mainly because of Pontus Jansson. Who is just a swell bloke through and through and so likable.

Wycombe Wanderers, I live about a half hour walk from Adams Park and keep quite up to date with them

I go to Orient about 4 times a season but I do not follow them one bit, don't know players names or league position, it's just they are a walk away from where I live and I love watching footy.

I try to go to about 4-5 games in a season over here. The Swedish league runs April-November so it kicks up around when the PL starts winding down so I have some football to follow year round.

I usually check how my local team are doing, as I used to watch them a lot when I was younger, they were known as Stevenage Borough then.

I also follow a non-league team that I'm involved with.

I spend a ridiculous amount of my spare time based around football tbh.

I watch out for clubs whose managers that I rate.

Had a soft spot for B'mouth since they were battling Villa for promotion from Div 3 1971. Been tracking Eddie Howe's progress through the leagues for a few years now.

Looked out for Brentford when Mark Warburton was there. If he hadn't had a disagreement with the owner/chairman, I think he'd have got the double promotion up to PL, and playing very good football too. I'll prob do the same with Forest. Big Spurs fan. Very interesting history, came into management after a successful City trading career.

Silva at W'ford. Thought he did a really good job at Hull. I can only think he's gone there because the Goons job will come up in the next 2-3 years (although hopefully much longer than that, it would be nice to see some stability there).

Being from Kent, took my kids to a few Gills games when Peter Taylor was there. 60,000 from Kent went to their playoff final v Wigan, about 1998-99. When they do well, alot of people have them as a 2nd club.

Looked out for Brighton under Poyet. A friend's son was in the Academy, got us tickets for some games in the old athletics "stadium". God, what a dump.

Hughton - I'd like him to do well, but I've never been enthusiastic about his teams' footie.

Besiktas. I've been over in Istanbul trying to drum up business from the big 3 there. These guys are totally crazy (crazy good).

Sundsvall eh? I've got cousins who grew up around there. Their Father ran a Paper Mill in the middle of nowhere. They left pretty much as soon as they could, now Göteberg and Stockholm. Never seen any Swedish football. Another cousin took me to Hammarby to watch Bandy a couple of times when over in Stockholm at Xmas. Now that's a good game.

AFC Wimbledon. Because I know a lot of Wimbledon fans, and was taking part in the protests, did some time on a vigil at soho Sq, the walk for Wimbledon, a lot of that stuff.

Live in Ipswich, I get offered a ticket every so often (once corporate boxes [blatant]) but now just regular seats.. Only take up a ticket if Spurs are playing Sunday. Can't say I follow them, but if they are doing well there's an added buzz about the town.

Hertha Berlin - saw them play before i saw even saw Spurs (1971).
Portadown - first saw them in 1974. Got relegated last season due to financial irregularities
Lewes - been a community owner for about 5 years. Go & watch them a few times a season.

I wouldn't saw i'm a 'supporter' of the first two clubs but i like to monitor their fortunes mainly for sentimental reasons.

Another Lewes FC owner although I get to see only 2-3 games per season. I generally like to see all Sussex teams do well although Brighton have suddenly got 20,000 extra fans who never showed much interest when they needed help. Supporters? Fuck off.

Birkirkara, my local team in Malta ...... they're the team that gave the Spammers a bit of a fright last season

Dagenham & Redbridge ... closest club to where I live

Exeter ....... the Mr P connection

Whats with the Lewes owner thing??
Not sure it's anything more than a Sussex thing... but Lewes are a club who do a huge amount of community football (kids teams, women's teams); they're a democratic, fan-owned club and they have a fantastic beer selection that you can enjoy whilst watching football on the terraces whilst the sun sets behind the South Downs. I gave them a bit of money before they established the new set-up and that gave me a lifetime share in the club. However, I happen to think they should focus a bit more on the First XI and spend less time trying to get known in champagne socialist circles whilst getting column inches in the national media. But then I'm a miserable old bastard.

Forest, first big team I ever saw live when they came down to Hastings to play a friendly in return for one of our players. Starring ol pineapple hair Jason lee himself
