It really would not be that hard to look at us having the lowest wages to turnover for our players but the highest wages for our chairman and say "this is bad and should not be the case"

Maybe I'm slightly biased with my Levy / ENIC position but I mean seriously, all bias aside, how can ANY Spurs fan defend THAT!!!

I mean.... Come on

It's bad! It shouldn't be the case!

Again, the only dissent from that viewpoint I have ever seen comes from a handful of people whose RELIGION is wanking off about how passé and unsophisticated wanting your football team to spend more money is. A cult for which Daniel Levy is the godhead, even though that's stupid on its own terms.
Lady Karren Brady £2.2m 😆 🤣

Well if you want to spend your time on here having it out with some posters that insulted you shortly after you joined the forum, and because they won't engage in discussion with you, ones that you say don't care about anything other than their own opinions, you do that. Supposing you're right about them, they won't care what you have to say anyway. So effectively you're talking into a void. At least I can have fun watching you, now that I know what you're up to, so your efforts aren't completely wasted.

I have put most of them on ignore now to be fair because I realised that it was just a zero sum game in terms of discussions.

Its the off season. There is no football.to discuss right now. Again early in last season I tried to engage in discussions about football and tactics etc but was pretty much met with the same nonsense from the same posters relentlessly.

The club accounts go into much greater detail, but the trouble is each club is structured differently, handles its finances differently, and reports differently, in a couple cases on a different fiscal year I believe.

The value Deloitte provides, as a world-class accounting firm, is digging into that stuff with a sophistication we boobs on the internet do not have, and synthesizing into apples-to-apples comparisons in a number of domains.
Deloitte do not have some secret source of information, their money league table is purely based on financial information that is freely available to everyone i.e the financial accounts published by each club and in the case of all PL clubs available for inspection at Companies House.
Deloitte never used to publish wage/revenue ratio in their money league that only started around 2021/22 but it's always been available if you look into each clubs accounts and don't forget that ratio is based on total wage bills at clubs not the ratio that is being paid to the first team squad.
Go back to the last season at WHL in 2016/17 when we finished 2nd in PL our best since the sixties, total revenue was £306.3 million, the wage bill £126.9 , that's a ratio of 41.42% so nothing much has changed since then in terms of ratios at Spurs, that's the way ENIC choose to run the club. Nobody moaned about wage/revenue ratio back in 2017 as Deloitte didn't show the figures in their table.

Back to that Directors wage table where Woolwich are 14th, Tim Lewis is merely a non-executive director , why is he even in that table ?

No ones put any money in lads- the rumour mill is just throwing out shit to keep the clicks coming in.

We aren't spending any differently to how we have since the stadium money started rolling in. Look at transfermarkt - the two seasons Ange was here we had 450m+ euros of incomings (some came in on loan earlier) so a couple of 50-60m players coming in doesn't require an investigation to figure it out why/how 😂

The increase to 30 non football events and CL money must be an extra £120M in revenue, at least. We also have the infamous low wage ratio

Exactly - we spent 50 odd on richarlison - 50 odd on johnson - 60 odd on solanke.

We'll do around £100-£130m net this Summer which is more or less akin to previous windows since we moved to the new stadium

Our revenue forecast must have been increased for the upcoming season though based on lowering of wage bill, CL and addtl events. If we spent £100M net a few years ago without these, wouldn’t we have an increase in spending capacity? I would think so

What is guaranteed money wise from the CL - group stages + gate receipts, what can we expect there? That might result in an additional player but that money isn't banked until end of season so it's up in the air whether the club factors that in to spending now or from next summer.

We have increased spending capacity though?

Our issue has always been actual cash to spend, not revenue.

If football wasn't this ridiculous industry where you need to spend tens of millions to recruit new staff we'd be absolutely fine.
