I am just curious and I mean this as a genuine question now for everyone, Levy in, Levy out, fuck Levy etc.

I don't care where you stand, just a simple question that requires a simple answer, no goalpost shifting, no deflection, just a straightforward honest answer.

Ok, the question...

At what point does Daniel Levy's position become untenable to you as an individual?

Again, straightforward question, just want to know what everyone's breaking point is and get a sense of what it will actually take for different posters.
A very good and difficult question to answer, particularly when it is posed to individuals who have no powers to execute (I use that term advisedly)the removal. I'm not happy with our style of play or the running of the Club on the playing side and would like the Board to be more proactive in reining in Levy's involvement and influence in that area. This should be relatively easy to achieve under the articles of association, he's not the owner ffs and only holds just shy of a 30% stake in the Club.

Failing that, since his position is commensurate with his business acumen and expertise then performance has to be looked at from a perspective of both the on and off field activities therefore from a business viewpoint success can come in many forms and I suppose relegation stands out as the ultimate failure and the most likely reason to wield the axe.

Gréât question. Two criteria:

Sustained underperformance relative to resources.

A failure to grow our resources.

At the moment neither apply. In fact we’re looking good against both metrics.

Agreed , but you did point out the protest was pretty minuscule , which I agree it was . I genuinely think he is loathed by many Spurs fans , but they also either can’t be arsed, or are pragmatic enough to know ENIC are going nowhere irrespective, so what’s the point
On the whole I think he’s loathed by the spurs equivalents of the people in the Woolwich thread videos.

We have quite a lot of those on here!

Edit: just click X if that’s you ;)

Fair

Although I was stating the full facts rather than twisting anything to an agenda, such as those who say "listen to the chants of Levy out" but fail to point out that the chant was limited to one small section and lasted for about 10 seconds maximum.

I think it would have only been a couple of Airfixx /Stevee type fluffers so would have had zero impact and been a pointless, token propaganda excercise anyway.

Well, I'd actually argue that Levy did a great job getting us into the 'Elite' clubs list. How would we all have felt had we been left out?

There will always be clubs that are wealthier than others. BUT, there should be salary caps, spending limits and rewards for using club trained talents. The investments should be going to young footballers and development; not spending $$$ on agents and underwear models.

Levy's statement at the end of the season will be tell tale. We don't want the hear excuses, we want to understand what he is doing to influence these reforms.
An elite club should win more than one trophy in 23 years shouldn't they?

Honestly. Good.

Poch would only be brought back to serve as window dressing for the fans to paper over the cracks. A shiny toy to distract from all the cracks in the structure.

Poch should come back once the rebuild is well under way and ready to challenge again. Not to serve sa a nice distraction so Levy escapes accountability once more.

I hope the media actually pick up on this too. Spurs fans want him, but only when the mess created by the owners is cleared up.

He deserves that.

An emerging problem for Premier League teams is the influence of the National Football League. I believe Levy, and other owners, see the NFL business model and aspire to it. Enormous stadiums, big merchandising deals, greater TV revenue, and the ability to turn teams into a money printing machine disconnected from performance on the field. It is a model that doesn't respect the history of teams or the sport and ignores fans. Levy is an astute businessman who has delivered a very modern stadium and created great business potential. But now there is a need within the organization to create a structure that separates him entirely from football operations. With a 30% share he's not going anywhere, but there needs to be a clear split between the business/stadium side and the football operation with an overall head brought in above Levy.

As our resident TottenhamFanTV leaders - can you explain the difference between our protests and this one less than two years ago?

Isn’t it embarrassing that Woolwich fans can put on a proper protest whereas you’re just full of excuses?

He really is an absolute joker isn't he. He just doesn't get it on so many levels and he's in a job that he's not made accountable for his actions.

The man told us he understand the importance to the fans to have a coach that plays an attack minded brand of football then hired Nuno Espirito Santo.

The man sacks a coach then installs the assistant of the coach as the new interim manager knowing they have the same ideology/football philosophy.

The man imposes a transfer ban on us for 2 windows (i presume as a cost saving excercise) meanwhile decided to make himself the highest paid chairman in the league.

The man appoints a DOF knowing full well he's under investigation for being corrupt.

The man hires a coach knowing his mind set, knowing he wants to be in control of everything and knowing he has a history of being petty. He then decides the best course of action knowing this information (as well as having a DOF already in place) is to take lead on the signing of a RWB (that is massively important in the formation we play) and insist on a player the coach doesn't want.

With him at the helm we are well and truly fucked.

Yep purely an ego thing.

It would be so easy to step aside and let footballing people actually run Spurs, but his pride won't let it happen

It's highly amusing to me that this is what the remaining dregs of the ENIC in supporters are reduced to. Na na na na your protests are shit! I mean erm, we've just lost to Bournemouth and erm we're gonna be 7th and erm our star player is off and ermmm our DoF is a fraud and erm we don't have a manager but HA!!! Aren't you protesting badly!!!

I don't protest. I can't. What I do is not go to games or buy anything club related. I'm not responsible for what other fans do or don't do. I imagine the strengths of protests will grow exponentially over the next 3-4 years as we're facing the darkest period in a long while.

And I imagine you, stevee stevee AberdeenYid AberdeenYid and Get in! Get in! will still be coming in here after every matchweek where we get slapped up by some team with 1/4 of our resources & telling everyone they can't expect to be City, that we're better than we were under Sugar, and that the fans are just entitled.

Usual boring posters who click X - even on factual posts.

Very excited to hear from the TottenhamFanTV crew about why Woolwich fans can put on a proper protest whereas we have a « rabbi » and 15 confused guys who failed maths and English.
Haha, I know you get up a lot of peoples noses , the things you say should make me feel the same. I’m not sure why but it actually doesn’t, I don’t agree with almost anything you say regarding ENIC but for some reason most of the time it raises a smile . I know as an avid ENIC out poster I’m in the minority ref your Alamo type defence of our not so beloved owners though
