Is there any truth to this John Malone bloke taking over at Spurs, anyone know?
I doubt it.

As MiddxSpur MiddxSpur pointed out the other day, there's too many commercial opportunities left for Levy to exploit before he would consider selling.

But who knows...If the Levy out sentiment continues to grow on matchdays and around the club in general perhaps he and Lewis will view the poor public image it presents as a possible financial long term hit and look to cash in if the price is right 🤷‍♀️

I genuinely don't understand why our fanbase is so apathetic about this. We're the laughing stock of English football, there is no media bias really they just don't respect us.
Neither do I.

Protests arranged well in advance.....20 turn up.

A regular protest outside the ground on match days..........20 turn up.

A new protest organised with plenty of tweets, messages, etc on every type of social media you can think of............29 turn up.

Even one of the most prolific anti Enic posters on here went to a game, but couldn't be arsed to join the protest.

"Get out my club"....pff, don't make me laugh.

Those 20 have my full respect.

Why are all our other fans so apathetic ?
My guess is that they're too busy typing messages.

I have no idea who this guy is, but he nails it.

I do think that Levy wants the club to succeed but he's just not very good at it.

I don't hate Levy, I do think he's made some decisions that make him seem incompetent though, he's some that I am quoting from another forum.

1. Sacks Jol at half time for ramos
2. Sacks Redknapp for AVB
3. Tries to move spurs to Stratford
4. Tries to help kill competitive football with the ESL
5. Refuses to back Poch and his painful rebuild
6. Sacks Poch, hires Jose to win trophies
7. Sacks Jose a few days before a cup final
8. Spends 72 days hiring Nuno after promising a return to spurs DNA
9. Sacks Nuno, hires a win now manager in conte and gives him a project budget
10. Sacks conte, hires conte assistant, sacks the assistant then hires the assistant’s assistant
11. Hires a dof under investigation for fraud. Dof gets banned from football whilst in role
12. Sells berbatov and replaces him by loaning Frazier Campbell
13. Gives a title challenging rednapp team Saha and Ryan Nelson for the final push
14. Can’t seem to find anyone to pay for naming rights
15. Sacks AVB, hires Tim f a cking sherwood
16. Pays himself the highest chairman wage in the league as he raises the season ticket prices to the highest in Europe
17. Wins one trophy in 23 years
18. On the subject of kane..... Decides to hold him hostage (Granted that's his brothers fault too ) but then decides not to build a decent team around one of the world's best CFs for the past 7-8 years -diamondlights
19. manages to loan Doherty to Atletico Madrid even though we had too many loans and therefore had to pay up Dohertys contract and watch him go on a free - striketeam
20. Didn’t sign a single player for nearly two years whilst we were in the champions league
21. Tried to furlough non playing staff through covid
22. Wasting the world record fee he got for Bale
23. The f a cking cheese room fiasco

That's pretty impressive work, tbf....

Mate, if you want to 'get it' try asking questions and engaging in a good-faith discussion about it.

The facts are there in black and white, there is no defending them anymore.

But yeah, foul vote everyone who posts something you disagree with. That's really a sign of people wanting to have an open discussion.

Probably because we don't live closer to the ground or training facilities, only time I was ever in Tottenham was to watch a game...no more of course as my season ticket wasn't renewed.

But yeah, I need to camp outside the training ground 24/7 to show how pissed off I really am.

That ls another one of your arguments that makes zero sense by the way but doesn't stop you repeating it ad nauseam.

I would put sacking Hoddle and putting Pleat in as caretaker for nearly the whole season, only to hire Santini who lasted 13 games, right up there.

"Don't live close enough"

You were "close enough" to attend games when you had your ST.

There's 60,000 people attending games.
42,000 or so are ST holders.

They like "close enough" to attend games, but not a protest ?

A pathetic excuse.

I do think that Levy wants the club to succeed but he's just not very good at it.
Well I'd agree he doesn't want it not to succeed, if that makes sense?

But actual success, tangible success, such as winning trophies is pretty low down on his list of priorities.
If he can keep the club in and around the top 6 or 7, challenging but not winning, on minimal investment while his investment grows and his other projects built and secured off the back of our club thrive, then all is good.

What he relies on for this though is the good will and the passiveness of the fans.

And nobody, Levy in or Levy out, can argue that the restlessness and anger of the fans has started to grow over the last 2 or 3 years.

The mask is slipping and the whole thing is becoming exposed for the charade that it is.
Light at the end of the tunnel.

Agreed!

To be fair to Levy imo the non-footballing events at the stadium aren't an issue, I don't know why some posters on here are so against them?
I'm not against them. I'm just against the fact that the football club seems to be used for the promotion of these events and Levy's wet dream of an NFL franchise, rather than the other events and NFL being used for ths benefit of the football club / team that facilitated it all.

But can still attend games.

But can't join in the protest that's outside the ground at every home game ?

Nah, not having that.

It is absolutely pathetic.

Keyboard warriors unite.
Nearer the end of the season, huge swathes of fans in the ground were singing for Levy and ENIC to leave. An hour beforehand, there was Dugal and 20 other lads protesting. It’s weird as fuck that all these people who want change, walk past the people actually making an effort to facilitate that change, without offering g them a hint of support.

But in the ground? Full voice. On here? Rabid.

Providing the revenue from the events puts money into the actual football team etc etc then it's all good for me, the trouble is we don't seem to see how the events revenue is being spent. Surely that revenue would have meant that ticket prices to watch the actual football team shouldn't have increased.

I don't know what our fans support groups are doing but that's the question I would ask if I were on the fans panel.
