I did read it, thank you.

No one on here has an agenda against our club, delete it from the options.
Where did I specify just on here? Oh that's right, I didn't. That's where the reading comprehension comes in!! 👍🏻

For example...
BBC News - Joe Lewis: Tottenham Hotspur owner charged over alleged insider trading

The BBC are calling Lewis the owner, he's not.

It’s the inconvenience, the embarrassment for people who have nothing to do with , they will still be investigated , there will also be people , as the indictment clearly state , who will be guilty , knowing they are breaking the law or not

Good olde Joe

Well, for sure they will investigate anyone they know he has given information to. I doubt very much they will be knocking on Harry Kane's door asking him about his stay at Joe Lewis' Hotel.

Most people who would have accepted tips from Lewvis and acted on them would 100% know that it is illegal to do so.

Whatever.

His daughter is apparently, anyone seen Succession? I doubt the apple falls far from the tree!

Dodgy patriarch, dodgy family including the son-in-law.

Get them out of our great club.

Why the need to downplay his shit by talking about other non related shit? Can we not just focus on another example of what a despicable cunt invisible Joe is as that is the news of the day…

fat fingers mate, I wouldn’t be one to begrudge a joke at joes expense…
Yeah that is annoying & just deflecting. Like if you say we have needed new CBs for 5 years & someone says what about Scunthorpe town. They have needed a new keeper for 7.
The constant comparing to owners like city or Liverpool who actually win things is baffling too. Anyway, focus on us & our owners & chairman. It’s not ok for them to be shit because another owner did something shit once. Grrrrrrrr

Yeah the BBC are good at that...just ask Coutts Bank...

Now we've had 'give quiche a chance', I'm going to dust this one off:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A few points: Everyone's perspective 'feels' right to them. It's based on their experience, their filters, their conditioning. You can't argue with feelings. They're special.
One thing to bear in mind when *feeling* like responding to someone who is criticising your views, is that your ego, a grizzled street-plodder to whom the motto "SERVE AND PROTECT" long ago fell into irony, sees someone making a public attack on your opinions as a blasphemous attack on your own pure divinity.
To Ego, their contradicting view is an African American person with a chocolate bar in their hand. Ego identifies the clear and present danger. Ego thinks "HE'S COMING RIGHT FOR US!" and wants to shoot first and maybe replace the chocolate bar with a deadly weapon later. Ego has had a lot of coffee. Ego's wife left it and moved to the West coast. Ego's kid's call it 'Eggo'. In short: Ego wants to prove itself.
The way to 'win' is to acknowledge your ego is just a trigger-happy, out-dated warden, trying to find threats where they don't exist. It's got a life-times worth of ill-informed anachronistic prejudices and it wants to vindicate itself in any way it can. See it. Feel it. And then tell it to stand down. "That'll do, Ego, that'll do. Thank you for your service. Now step aside, the commissioner is talking."
With that out of the way, you are free to take on board your fellow fan's views as a point of reference (i.e. information that you previously didn't have) and see for yourself how it can be factored into a well-rounded and more accurate perspective.
The chimpanzee paradox in effect isn't it?
Do you know how these things work ? Do you realise how serious insider trading is taken in the states & how thorough they are ? All parties who have been in contact with him during the timescale of these allegations will be investigated
The success rate of this particular bunch is 98% conviction
"It's really not ok for an owner to be corrupt, immoral and be absolutely contemptible, they should be locked up for life and forced to sell the club"
"Unless they invest millions in buying players, and we win things. In that case I'm perfectly fine with it. "
Hypocrisy GIF
Mate, people get convicted of this shit all the time - you rarely, if ever read anything about the people they spoke to at a party one time. It just doesn't happen.
This is serious for Joe Lewis and anyone who knowingly took part. This isn't serious for every single person he has ever met.
Joe Lewis made his fortune betting against his own national currency, the Pound Sterling, and then fucked off to tax exile in the Bahamas.
His purchase of a private fiefdom in Argentina is entirely in keeping.
I cannot remember a single good thing he has done for our famous football club.
The only amusing Lewis story I recall, which was an "ITK rumour"" so treat with a pinch of salt, is that one summer our first team squad was invited onto one of his super-yachts. Amongst their number was an up & coming CB, Steven Caulker, who was on the sauce, took a look at the women on board, and declared loudly: "I don't think much of the brasses".
The nearest lady in question was Joe Lewis' daughter, and Caulker was soon transferred out of the club.
This may not be true.....
To be fair, Caulker being shit may also have had something to do with it
