If Levy had any ambition to win football matches Ange would be gone by now.

Firing Ange and hiring an interim will cost him money so he will not do it. It has nothing to do with injuries or a fucking project.

Spurs supporters are now living in a surreal world where they continue to turn up to matches, expecting to concede huge amounts of chances and goals, but are requested to get behind the 'project' and the team by the guy who the senior players are no longer listening to.

The vast majority of Spurs supporters no longer believe in this nonsense in my opinion. Belief in Ange is about as solid as belief in the tooth fairy.

I believe there is now a consensus of supporters who cannot see Spurs getting beyond the semi final of the Europa, under Ange and his tactics.

Supporting the team, while Spurs have a manager in a seemingly untenable position, without the genuine support of many senior players, who appear to be paying lip service to Ange when interviewed but their performances tell you something else, is becoming increasingly futile.

This is Levy cheaping it out until Spurs are knocked out of the Europa League. It needs to be called out.

We all know Ange will not be here next season but are expected to go through the motions like the players who no longer believe in the project.

ENiC and Levy are allowing reputational damage to the football club by neglecting to remove their terrible choice of manager for THFC.

It's an all time low from Levy as chairman.

Pay attention to the podcasters who are still towing the company line and suggesting Ange should not be sacked despite his pitiful performance.

Levy's hired and fired 4 consecutive duds since sacking his most successful manager Poch.

Giving the Spurs supporters a credible belief in winning the Europa League is the minimum requirement from any Spurs chairman at this point of Ange's tenure.

Watching Spurs failing, aiming low under ENIC, has never felt this bad.

Up until recently there was a large portion of the fan base that was still strongly in favor of keeping Postecoglou. I suspect that influenced the team's thinking. "We fire this guy and then they blame us for not backing him." He's a divisive figure. His personality and attitude is the same with Spurs it has been everywhere else he's been and it isn't going to change.

Ange is also taking the majority of the heat from the regular ENIC Out crowd atm. As soon as he's gone, the pressure focuses in only one place.
 
We always talk about who the next manager will be, but maybe the question is what they will be. What would work best at Spurs just now? Older, younger. Outgoing, reserved. Innovative or adaptable. Relies on veterans, good with young players. Established track record or on the way up. Attacking, defensive, somewhere in between. I'm almost inclined to believe what Spurs need if they do replacement Ange (which I'm not sure they will) is a boring manager personality wise who will be respected by players and fans and can work with the players who are here already and not need "his players" to succeed. Someone who gets a days work out of the players for a days wages.

I think that to be a long term success/long term stay at Spurs as a manager you need to be adaptable in the sense that you can adapt your football based on the players available. We are willing to spend money but we are not willing to spend on out and out established world class stars with any regularity. Our focus is going to be on young, develop-able players with the odd veteran sprinkled in. So you need to be able to improve players and adapt the tactics and style based on the players.

That's why early Poch worked. He was a fantastic player developer.

the training facilities are a pull for the club when attracting players, no doubt about that, and they will help improve players but only minimally. players improve by playing with better players day in day out. when youre going out and spending 50m on players like johnson, it doesnt matter what the training facilities are like, youre shit.


if youve got people that havent got a clue and cant tell what a good player is, in charge of recruitment, youre fucked! stadiums and training grounds are irrelevant.

All PL clubs have decent training facilities now (apart from West Ham) so I dont think it is as much of a pull for a player as it once was.

I think Loser Levy has already pretty much worked his way through every managerial type you describe. And many more besides.

No manager will be a success as such, under the conditions they have to work with it won't happen.
Success will be measured by, finishing top six, developing a few good younger players, get good money when they want to leave for bigger things.
Then, we start all over again, knowing that, a bit more investment and this club could be special.
