Gary Lineker could have signed for anyone he wanted to but chose to sign for THFC.

So did Chris Waddle.

Yes we’re the mugs nothing will change , as mentioned on I think talksport a caller …..Levy spun the new stadium line that we could compete in the transfer stakes and compete with the wage structure with the new stadium up and running now he’s coming out with “ we have keep in line with our finances” and not go gung ho, the stadium was meant to allow us to go gung ho! The hotel was mentioned as well how’s that being funded on fairy dust? Levy will find the cash or debt management for that as it’s in the best interests of the business model, guess which part of Tottenham Hotspur will again fall short.
 
I don't like defending Levy, but the worst you can accuse him of is not investing his own money in the club, he's guided the club well enough. I personally blame him more for horrible managerial appointments, he needs to let a DOF do that part of the business.

The current manager is just incompetent. The squad is good enough for top 7 and Europe at the very least, and while that is not a trophy, it's also not a season long slog where you watch the team lose every other game.

I'm Munn OUT, Ange OUT, Mason (and the rest of the "coaching" staff OUT.

I'm on-the-fence about Lange, ambivalent about Paratici (and the rumors of him off to AC Milan), and suggest that Levy needs to catch a bus to the Cotswolds, take a heroic dose of Ayahuasca, sit with himself, and hire a competent crew to run our football club.

He is taking money generated by the club brand and using it to grow non football operations because the risk profile is much lower. Spending 200m on new hotel guarantees regular income. Spending 200m on Mbappe doesn't guarantee Champions Leagues. Improves our chances but doesn't guarantee it. And there in lays the problem. This is not a football club. It's a portfolio of assets.

This squad is not top 7... its not even top 10. At best we are a 50 point team. 11th - 13th
