Well Johnson is the one that sticks out the most imo, I can't read Postecoglou's mind so don't know what he really thinks but he was certainly bigging up Johnson and also he must have agreed to extend Werner's loan contract. What about Vdv and Vicario, he seems to very much approve of them, ditto Solanke.

I know it's not all his fault that we're where we now are at, but in the context of working for Levy he's been better backed than the previous few managers maybe even including Poch.

He's been provided with 11 new players, most supporters seem to agree that we should be nearer the top of the league than we are, with the present squad.

I'm not blaming Postecoglou for everything but man those tactics, and the way he's been towards the supporters.
I’ve made my feelings about Johnson very clear but I must admit he made one great run in the Chelsea game, beat his man ad got a great cross in. Why the hell don’t the coaches help him develop that side of his game?

What's the difference between a tourist and a day tripper?
A tourist comes from abroad, stays in the hotel, maybe does the sky walk, maybe a stadium tour, spends tons on Son gear in the club shop. A day tripper comes from Northampton, Chelmsford or Eastbourne to watch a Premier League match. There is usually two children in tow and whilst they won't spend much in the club shop they will buy a programme and some food and drink. I do hope that clears it up for you.

In all honesty I doubt Ange has had any input into any of the signings; despite him endorsing them and alluding to the assertion that he may have had input.

Ange was always going to take the job once it was offered to him. How could he not?

It was a big opportunity for him and he owes Levy for giving him that chance.

That is why Ange is happy to cover for Levy.

Without Levy; Ange never manages in the EPL.

I fear for Ange at the moment. He clearly isn't up to the task of Premier League management and he is losing his shit before, during and after games now. It's a lot of pressure.

The personal stuff against him is unfair but goes with the territory.

Once the credibility and belief has gone any manager is done.

Even Poch got to where Ange is now in the end.

Spurs supporters should still treat him with respect in my opinion.

It's not really his fault but the argument that a more experienced manager, with more than one way of playing, would do better than Ange; looks more and more credible with every defeat.

Levy set Ange up to fail.

He sets them all up to fail in the end.

Anyway, all this talk of does he or doesn't he take money out is irrelevant..
Under his stewardship and ENIC's ownership we've become the perennial whipping boys of our to traditional rivals, we no longer compete, haven't even made an FA cup final despite being record winners when he turned up and have become the go to joke of English Football.

The best supported losers in Europe

As a football fan I judge the owners on what we achieve on the pitch. If we were regularly winning silverware the cunt could take as much dough out of the club as he liked.

Very rich OFF the pitch, Very poor ON it

Levy OUT!
Nail on head!!! Take a bow John. It always been about what we do on the pitch not off it

So the CFT crowd want singing and yellow flag waving on the 61st min.

Anyone have any ideas what winning the league in 1961 has to do with Levy/ENIC??

I see no relevance at all 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hardly player of the season stuff though is it? Do think Johnson deserves another season with a coach who can develop him. If hes shit next season put him on the transfer list.

They don't want legacy fans or season ticket holders... they want single tickets purchased by tourists, day trippers and the away team. If Levy is not careful he will take the club into the Championship because like it or not home support does make life tough for the opposition. If our home support dwindles over the next few years due to inability to be competitive then it's the home team who will find it tough when a third of the ground is hardcore away support. That will kill the value of the club and actually might be what we need. A bit of short term pain (embarrassment of relegation) for long term gain (new owners). Forest and Villa have proven you can get relegated and come back stronger. Although we would probably fuck that up.
This constantly rehashed idea that ENIC will sell if Spurs are relegated is absurd.

Why does anyone think this is what would happen? It's utter nonsense.

Relegation would be a disaster for the club.

Well it's not really but thanks for contributing to the discussion.
Yes, it is. One of the stupidest things you've ever posted.

Spurs received £165M from the Premier League in 2022-23.

The EFL Championship distributed ±£16M each to clubs in 2022-23.

It's idiotic to think any club ownership, particularly one running a club as a financially sustainable enterprise, would be happy to see a £150M revenue loss. That revenue loss exceeds the entirety of our annual wage bill - there's no amount of wage bill reduction that could account for it.

That would represent a loss of 27% of Spurs' revenue, and likely more as other sponsorship contracts would likely be impacted. It would be catastrophically damaging to the club.

But it might get out the festering virus that is ENIC. Akin to sawing off your arm to save the infection.

We will never, ever achieve anything under them. They are the problem. They are some of the worst owners left in premier league football.

Going back to my first post here today - this idea that they'd sell because we got relegated is preposterous.

ENIC is an investment firm. The #1 rule of investing is you don't sell an asset at its lowest possible value.

There's a near 0% chance Levy will ever sell his shares, in my opinion. The club is his life.

There is an absolute 0% chance ENIC will sell when the club is at its lowest value in 2 decades were we to be relegated.

It's nonsense.
