I understand your point mate. It is hard to find a reliable metric. Someone asked how Brentford had done in cups under Frank, like that's a point of reference we should use. Brentford on their shoestring budget v the oil barons of Newcastle and Man City. Unless you get some luck it's a complete mismatch and it's unfair to judge a manager with that level of handicap.

I think we need to look at what he can bring away from results. Development of youth, tactical flexibility, calm demeanour, respect, working within financial constraints.....all attributes Frank has that we would want from a manager at Spurs.

The more people on here talk about him not being the man for the job, the more I'm convinced he is!
A further consideration with Frank is that he is working under what many perceive to be excellent ownership, under Benham, which would not be the case here under our Daniel.

Under Daniel, development of youth is that the youth grows in value and gets sold.

I guess time will tell.

Doesn't that happen at Brentford as well?

Utd 2024 - Erik Ten Haag won SECOND trophy after season-long struggle with bad form, injuries and fans demanding he be sacked - Utd finished 8th in the league having never been as low as 16th all season. What happened when the board backed Ten Haag instead of sacking him?

25 years is long time ago init - Get with the times bruv 😁😁🤣
But then, Amorim has been even worse than Erik. Averaged one point per game. If Amorim doesn’t improve dramatically he will be gone by Xmas.

I'm normally pretty sceptical about Levy going or takeovers but something is going on. Boardroom changes, the Postecoglou sacking saying it was a board decision and Levy not putting his name too it. I believe Aussies Dream Aussies Dream mentioned he'd heard something about a Malaysian group a few weeks back.

I would take a summer of no signings and deadlock, if it meant we culled these bastards by Xmas

I would assume it is one from this list or a consortium as the billionaires on this list dont seem to have enough money to buy a football club outright. Although obviously they debt up to do it. Maybe the ones that own Battersea Power Station.
