Well at least winning is hard from his perspective does not back himself into a corner , it’s getting his pathetic lack of ambition out there .
Now saying he wants to win the league and CL when he under invests will make him look even more ridiculous. However deep down inho he does not feel the pressure to win and he knows ultimately we can do fuck all about it when he fails.
Haven’t watched the video so I can’t comment but for those who did , did it feel different from the usual faux ambition ?

I think if that were a new chairman and his sidekick you'd be pretty excited hearing it. Talk of wanting to win the prem and CL and the way we can go up a level. But it was less than 2 months ago he produced that sniffy, antagonistic statement about how much we spend. I think he's lost the benefit of the doubt over the last 8 or 9 years. I really hope he has had some sort of epiphany with the trophy/parade/17th place finish or Vinnai is a genius with insane powers of persuasion but come September 1st i suspect it will prove to be another false dawn. Hope i'm wrong.

Actually I have no idea and I wasn’t expecting anyone to take me literally. However being that you have I will say this, I can’t recall seeing him smile , although I probably have. It strikes me it is Halley’s Comet territory where football is concerned.You would know I suppose
