I made it through a few mins of the gary neville interview and had to switch it off.

One of the slimiest, most self satisfied, smug human beings ever. I'll be appreciated when I'm gone.

Fuck off. Just fuck off. Horrible fucking bastard.

He gets credit for the stadium, sure

But fans dont support a stadium, we support a football club
Take the stadium out of the equation and just look at the on the pitch achievements and it's shocking.

Also the stadium was supposed to allow us to compete with the big boys in the transfer market etc.

Which hasn't happened and won't ever happen

I think we can say logic, online and inside a ground are often very different things
This is correct, and while this debate has been roiling online for decades it only really became an in-stadium presence in the last couple of years.

It will be interesting to see where we are with it this coming season. I had been assuming that the EL triumph would put the matchday supporters in a more contented mood, but narratives do change.

For me personally I am finding it very upsetting that we're letting the golden opportunity to kick on with CL football go begging. I am not going to overreact to a transfer window that's not complete yet, but the returns so far are those of a club that is just existentially unserious.

Even if they go out and address the needs now. It's weeks too late. Every God damn year. So important when a new coach comes in that all the players have as much time adjusting to a new season. Amy player we sign now are going to be thrust into a brand new system they're not comfortable with, or will take a few weeks to start because they're not up to speed.

We've failed a new manager again. Absolute joke.

Have Enic actually built any hotels? Can someone's name a hotel owned by ENIC that is up and running?

Also aside from football, Enic have other businesses. What business? Does those businesses generate income? And this income, it's clearly not used to buy players. Does the Enic empire bring any money to Spurs or is it only the other way around?

No they haven’t 🏨

I remember looking into it a while back

  • –Autonomy - a Cambridge-based software company They were bought by Hewlett Packard , they had to almost immediately write off 70% of its valuation , stating this resulted from "serious accounting improprieties" and "outright misrepresentations" by the previous managemen

  • Warner Bros. Studio Stores – a retail chain tied to Warner Bros. Closed due to declining sales
  • Ukbetting.com – a gambling website. Sold for a profit
  • Church Street Station – an entertainment complex had several owner leading to its closure

So no they own nothing anymore apart from Tottenham which they have split into 13 companies

Seems like they are about as good at managing business as they are at managing a football club. Why am I not surprised?

Wave Hotel at Lake Nona was built by Tavistock (subcontracted to Balfour Beatty), as an example, so yes they do have experience.

This is purely player-dependent - we have bought plenty of players who have bedded in almost instantly -

Also, youre probably one of those posters that cries all January begging for players to sign with zero sense of irony with how you sound here.

Tavistock is the parent company of ENIC among other companies . So Tavistock have experience , their main man is Tyler Piercy who is also CEO of ENIC international based in the Bahamas, there has been no recorded link between him & the TH hotel
