I don't think Vinnie was in place until after the Jan window, so the summer would have been the first time they got a good look at him.They’d had plenty of time to assess his performance.
If they’d wanted to make an impact and Levy was holding them back as they’ve intimated, they could have fired him early in the summer and made a bigger splash in the transfer window.
I’d believe the rhetoric they’re currently peddling if that were the case!
Who knows, but they sacked him, and I am greatful for that.
Until we get some windows, it's all guess work as to what they are going to do.
