yep very true. his first test is to see who he wastes no time in getting rid of.
and that is by no means all of them either, Dier the man is probably a really good guy, but Dier the Centre Back is a disgrace, and i mean that as harsly as possible.
overall Perhaps in my top 3 least rated Spurs CBs that i've watched , replace him and the goalkeeper last season and we finish at least 6th more likely 5th quite comfortably

Unfortunately there will be a clean slate for everyone until Ange finds out Dier is shit. Unless of course Mason grows some balls and gives truthful advice instead of supporting his friends.
The worst thing is, these are only the incidents that turned into goals. He makes counttless more mistakes including the ones that unpunished as well.
Was not good watching him decline last season.
Was a good CB in the Top 4 run last season but his brain and body just can't do prem football anymore.
Turns too slowly, decisions are too stressful for him at Prem speed.
Could still do it in Italy maybe.

absolute fucking disgrace. the bit that fucks me off is that look he gives teammates like they are at fault too. like someone should of helped him. hes WAY out of his depth at this level, its painful to watch. there would legitimately be better defenders in the crowd who have paid good money to watch the game.
For me this is the issue more than his mistakes. He makes mistakes but so do all of our defenders. The biggest problem with Dier is his reluctance to try and win the ball, it’s constantly backing off the player and watching. The Rashford goal was a great finish and he is fast, and I certainly didn’t expect Dier to beat him in a foot race, but he seemed content to run along with him without making his life harder. Didn’t get close enough, didn’t try and make the angle worse, didn’t make a challenge.
Christ this is just fucking risible. There's championship centrebacks be fully ashamed of this crap.

Was about to say that we seem to have a crazy high amount of mistakes that get punished by a goal. It seems every single time someone screws up anywhere in our half its a goal. You can almost see it coming. Other teams seem to make mistakes and get away with it. Maybe it's just my biased eyes.
There were some games when that must have happened. From my memory, the one vs Newcastle, those fuckers punished every single mistake by us.
Dippers at home was exactly the same.....
Home NLD was pretty much the same too.
