He’s clearly a decent guy and I loved him at his peak in midfield (especially The Battle of the Bridge kicking that little twat Hazard around the pitch) , but we can’t have emotion making footballing decisions.

He’s clearly a liability in the back line, so we should either look to sell him on or pay up his contract.

He’s that unsuitable to a high line that’s it’s unfortunately a completely wasted squad place if he is retained.

Haven't heard anything about him being injured so I think the fact that he's not even on the bench is an indicator he's off.

Dier has been a long serving leader at the club but sport is harsh. He and Spurs need a fresh start. I hope he finds a club, is successful and is replaced with a player that is more suited to Postecoglou’s system. It would have been very difficult for him today with our team pushed up to the half way line.
