Competition EURO 2021

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Every tournament there seems to be a team that looks fantastic in the group stage and goes out as soon as they play someone decent.

That will be Italy (England will suffer the same fate except not looking all that convincing in the group stage)

What's your thing against England? They've only played one game so far and they beat Croatia comfortably, and that was without four or five players that would have been in most supporters starting 11. (Maguire, James, Shaw, Bellingham and Grealish)

From what I've seen so far, outside of France and Portugal there's nothing to really fear. But we all pretty much knew that they would be the two teams to beat anyway.

Just finished the Italy game. It's not like they are stacked full of wonderful world class footballers, but Mancini's really got them humming with and without the ball.

Imagine Mancini coaching France...In fact if Mancini was coaching the best 11 players that didn't make France's squad, he'd have a decent crack at winning it.

Yes, I am really loving watching Italy, even if obviously I am emotionally involved and I get nervous

I definitely have dismissed Mancini too early (I always thought he was the most successful useless manager in the world). It would be nice if we could find three or four top players in the next few years and rise the challenge
