They likely will get lucky, Croatia, but it will still be too good for them.

I don’t know what they can do, and any plans will always get screwed by someone losing that shouldn’t. But it is crazy how bad the draw could be in the round of 16. It shouldn’t be better to finish 2nd than 1st in a group but that is the case in at least one, if not more, groups.
 
I don’t get why they took Brozovic out or swapped the CBs to put Lovren back in. Lovren is terrible and Caleta-Carr looked fine against England.
 
Lovren gives away a penalty, who could have seen his inclusion in the line-up being an issue for Croatia?
 
I think that he should be punished for throwing his elbow around like that but at the same time a penalty seems harsh.

I wish there was a way to have a foul, even a card given but not a penalty.
