Match Europa League - 12th December - Rangers (A) 8PM

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Didn’t watch the game. Knew it would be tough after summers getting kicked to pieces in Glasgow.

Amazing anyone thought it would be a cakewalk.

Sounds like Ange is starting to lose it too.
You don’t publicly call out your players. It’s the cardinal rule. That’s behind closed doors stuff.
This is the same manager who said he would rather not sub players if they don’t deserve to win. Just leave them on the pitch.

Confronting fans and now this. If you can’t recognise a man feeling pressure I’m sorry for you.

Big 10 days now. Soton, United and Liverpool. Wouldn’t surprise me if we don’t win 1 of those games. Issue for him is what Daniel expects. Probably not that run of results.
We'll lose to Southampton and United. Liverpool will have 3 players sent off, 3 of them will be injured and hobbling around to finish the game. They'll have 4 goals ruled out for incorrect VAR nonsense.
They'll score a last minute own goal when passing back to their keeper (one of the injured) to give us the win.
And the Angebois will be like

Just embarrassing tbh that we're coming away from Rangers with a point having put out a team full of seniors. Say what you will about injuries etc, it's Ange's job to manage the squad, no one put a gun to his head and forced him to start both Micky and Romero on Sunday. Why are we seemingly half in on this whole "trust the youth" policy? Surely Dorrington or Phillips would do just as adequate a job as Gray filling in at CB as rotation freeing him up to either cover Porro at RB or rotate in at CM in the league during Bentancur's 7 game absence? Is Gray really that fucking amazing that he can cover a position he's never played prior to coming to Spurs more adequately than an established championship-level centre back in Ashley Phillips? I just don't understand why we've allowed such gaps in the squad to occur, I understand there's a lot of pressure on every game as a premier league manager but previous managers have been smart about looking to the youth squad to alleviate that pressure; Sherwood did it with Kane, Poch did it with Bentaleb, Mason and Tanganga. Granted we have seen Lankshear start to appear on the fringes of the squad but under Ange that red could have meant the start and end of any meaningful minutes, again he preferred to start Son (and play him for 90...) up front than look to Lankshear to cover, surely we have watched enough of the fucking dross being served up by the first team to really shake the pack and throw some kids in? At the least it would signal the first teamers that they are not undroppable and you might provoke a bit of a response, but we see the same fucking stupid line ups with players shoehorned into positions because he's clearly terrified of the repercussions of playing a weakened side in any comp at the moment, which is a bad fucking sign IMO.

Ashley Phillips has been on loan at Stoke City since the start of the season… cmon

But unfortunately for him that is about his normal speed!

I’m due to be at a Christmas lunch / party next Sunday but I’ve just cancelled that to watch this amazing game of football you promise!!

Fuck you Norfolk Nudists, Swingers and Dogging Association.

I’m watching the football!! With my clothes on!!!

The only positive that I can take is that because we didn’t lose, Rangers (who are pushing us for that top 8) didn’t move ahead. With our final two games we *should* have a chance of 16 points. Which might be enough. Rangers have to go to Old Trafford. Need that to be a draw really.

In regards the 'Werner ' dig... he's a loaned player so technically he's not ours and thus an easy target...however if you can't control a relatively easy pass and it rolls off the pitch there will be questions.

So, did Werner pick himself in the starting 11.. I see what Ange is saying, he did play crap, but we have seen that many times - it is like Ange was surprised, but others were also shite last night. Many of us have seen how Werner can be used in a 2nd half as a speed merchant when the defenders legs are tiring a bit, he just can't deal with a fast mobile defence who will bully him..

If Ange has issues with him or anyone, should be behind closed doors. We are not blind, we can all see what happened. Not starting the correct 11 was key, gave Rangers a foothold, the crowd hope and from then on we were always on the back foot.

Shambles of a night all round, from picking the team, the performance and again the slowness to change things when it was clear things were going wrong.

Hey, If a four year old can accurately read a game, I have no objection agreeing with them rather than agreeing with a 60 year old that believes we outplayed Rangers.
Remind me, how many goals more than us did they score?
Yet we had more of the ball and opportunity in their penalty area and 1/50 of the support
As I pointed out, we didn't batter or hammer them, but most of their opportunities ended in row Z
They should have made a better job of the opportunities they had.

As the away team with a teenager playing out of position in central defence I am happy to see it as a moral victory

Actually - don't bother replying, I don't have the patience to try and explain anything to someone I have no difficulty in believing has to wear velcro fastened shoes.

He shouldn’t have publicly said what he said. In terms of picking Werner we are very short of options, he will get games like it or lump it until we have better options.

Is it the usual 3 points for a moral victory?
