Wtf is the thing that looks like a gallows scaffold behind the goal? :pochshock:
It was supposed to be a scoreboard but never realised its purpose lol :D

You see, we were never favoured by the communists and while other clubs took the best players in the whole country for free in the context of serving their military drills for example, we never had that opportunity. They destroyed our first stadium and built the next one in... 35 years. It wasn't even completed, there were two missing stands and we finished it with the transfer of one of our club greatest legends to the Greek giants Panathinaikos, which was the first transfer of a Bulgarian footballer in a country outside of the Iron curtain.

However, even though we were never favoured by the regime, we created one of the greatest footballers in the country like Hristo Bonev who had most goals for the national team before Berba surpassed him and Ayan Sadukov who has had the most matches in the Bulgarian national team if we count them from U-sides to the senior squad.

Nope there are 3 modules for around 250 people each and they are put together. It is where our hardcore section of fans stand during games. If any of your first 11 players come to see it, it will be quite a view.

We are promised new stadium within 3 years but in Bulgaria such promises are so common that nobody believes them anymore :D

Btw, we should have finished second last season, but the referees were in favour of CSKA Sofia, the Bulgarian teams with most trophies and didn't let us win in our last game.

We've got decent side for our standards, a good manager who brought 2 Bulgarian cups versus our biggest rivals Botev Plovdiv and CSKA.

Anyway, we have little to none chances versus your team but at least it will be a game to remember with years to come for our side and supporters.

Our budget is less than 2 million pounds per year so just the TV rights would be huge money for the club but don't be fooled just by that, we compete well versus sides like Ludogorets, Levski and CSKA who have budgets by the range of 15-20 million pounds.
Has your season started yet or are you still in pre-season?

We started in the beginning of August- lost to our city rivals Botev because we won the Bulgarian Supercup versus Ludogorets a week before that and our lads celebrated a bit too much :D

After that we've gone 3 in a row domestically and we managed to beat the Montenegrian side away in EL.

BTW, we played Bolton 15 years ago in a playoff to the UEFA Cup group stage and it was a hella of a tie. We lost 2:1 there and were leading 1:0 in Bulgaria up until the 80th minute when a miserable own goal fucked us up.

But that home game wasn't played at our stadium because it had neither seats nor lights and we played in Bourgas at the seaside 300 km from our home.

If I remember correctly, they finished 5th in England back then so it was a good performance by our side.

It was a night to remember 12-13 000 from us and they brought around 1500-2000 people at the game.

If it wasn't for the COVID-19 situation it would be a great trip for you guys. Our city is the oldest still inhabited in Europe and has many beautiful sights to see.

We are quite mad at that kind of games. Not at the level of Zvezda or the Greek clubs but we still make some good atmosphere. Enjoying the comfort of your seat is forbidden :D

Last year none of the European sides brought more than 30-40 people at the ties and it was quite sad. I expected more from Strasbourg fans tbh but.

If you could travel it would have been very interesting at the game.

You guys make twice as much noise as Woolwich do, and the Emirates is always at 60,000 capacity

Woolwich are nowhere near the top of sides with which we would like to compare in terms of atmosphere :D

One of our firms has a great relationship with the hardcore fans of Napoli and they come to our games at least twice a year.

Berba was just quoted by a journalist that you are the clear favourites but our side is capable of making a suprise in his opinion.

We are facing a team in good form - with nothing to lose -, away in a distant country.
It´s as bad as it gets - but we are winning it.

Looking at some pictures online Plovdiv does look like a great place to visit.

That's the only concern that we should have whilst playing you and why these ties can be a banana skin for Clubs like us. You will already have some kind of rhythm to your game, whilst we would have barely kicked a competitive ball.

Colchester last season showed that if you do not score you are at the mercy of Penalties. Earlier this year it showed that until we get a back up striker if both Son and Kane do not play we struggle to score. Will kane or Son have to play assuming both fit and covid free. Cannot see us having a back up striker by this game at best by transfer window deadline. That is my concern but we have depth elsewhere and Hart has plenty of experience to rest Lloris and not expose Gazza to this game.

That could be an important factor but in that kind of games the smaller club will always be determined to put up a fight. We won't have a better chance to play with a club of your size and eliminate it- one game at home. At home even the walls help. The one legged games are the factor which makes the FA cup the only top European cup bearable to watch. Because there could always happen a surprise.

Our lads know that if we have the luck and your players underestimate us so badly that we manage to win, that game will forever be in our folklore and the tale of the tie will be passed from one generation to another. Of course, as I said, the chances of that to happen are close to none, but that doesn't mean that our squad will give your players a lap of honour and just lose.

Btw, do you have any idea what could the size of the TV rights be? Because there are some speculations in our media ranging from 500 thousand to more than a million pounds, which as I said are huge money for our club.

If it was at home it would be different, but Jose is going to put out a strong team for this. We have to hope we get a home tie in the League Cup.
