The game could have been 3-2 England at half time but for the width of the goal line and the width of two posts.

Then we had a few chances second half, an offside goal and then Watkins screamer.

XG is bollocks

John Barnes just said England should win the euros for the black community, whilst bigging up the 5 penalty scorers for being black, yes he even claimed Cole Palmer because his dad is black.

You got better as the tournament went on, a little bit like England.

Don't disrespect the '66 team, they beat Argentina, Portugal and West Germany en route to lifting the trophy. Had world class players scattered throughout the side and a proper coach at the helm.

I didn't know Palmer had a black grandad but saw a photo online and thought, 'wow, that's cool" and then continued scrolling.
