Match Everton - Spurs - Feb 3rd - 12:30pm KO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I’d hardly call that a dominant second half.

Porro had a chance, Richy had half a chance for that hat trick. Outside of those two chances, I don’t really remember many others. It was less jammy than the first but that doesn’t mean it was a dominant performance.

I agree though that Wolves away was a more dire performance.

Richy had a great chance, Maddison had a good shot, Porro. They defended deep and created nothing other than set pieces.

It really wasn't....... Shit finish but we were generally ok in the 2nd half.
Semantics. I suppose “carbon copy” may be the wrong phrase but the general idea is there. We scored early and didn’t look like scoring again afterward. Richy’s second was a beautiful piece of individual skill.

I didn’t think the second half was as bad as the first but I still think it was a fairly poor performance overall.

We are ahead of the curve regarding where we're at playing wise, its disappointing but I'd rather watch this style of football rather than the shite we have had to put up with for the last few years.
This project will take time and I personally am glad Ange has come along, he is a breath of fresh air.
Onwards and upwards COYS

As a team, we never look like we are going to keep a clean sheet, most teams we play will get numerous chances against us. If we are serious about challenging the big boys next season, we really need to tighten up defensively as a team. It’s all very well wanting to play open, attacking football but we leave ourselves wide open. How many times did VDV get us out of trouble today. We can’t keep relying on him having to put in so much work, he’ll end up doing his hamstring again
What's more worrying is that since we've had what appears to be our strongest back 4/5 finally available again, we've conceded 5 goals!
Man City shoulda ended 0-0, Brentford 3-1 and today 2-1...
Not closing out games and conceding late SO often is gonna kill us more than the 4 match run after the Chelsea game!

...and yet the fat red faced cunt got his wish in the end!

Ange is a great manager and big personality in dressing room and with media. Conte and mourinho were just fucking annoying chelsea cunts. Im happy how were doing.

Everyone will calm down eventually, it’s just the initial disappointment.

We’ve still got a long way to go to improve yet, everyone just needs to sit back and enjoy the journey, it’s a project, we’re not going to become world beaters in half a season

It's not "semantics" at all......

We were shit for a bout 85mins vs Wolves and even then only really suffered the late sucker punch.

Wheras, today our 2nd half was ok.

Richy's 2nd goal was also good build up; Madison's part in particular.
We forced 3-4 good saves out of Pickford in the 2nd half and saw much more of the ball than Everton.

All it takes is a bunch of long balls to completely undo this defence it seems.
Wonder if other teams who don't even have that tactic will go with it against

Who on earth thought this?! :roflmao:
I know it's hard to understand, but a fact!

I never thought there were bigger masochists regarding Spurs, but there is apparently 😜

I said after the Chelski game, that our title chances were over with that game!
