Match Everton v Spurs April 3rd

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Why didn't Sanchez try to block it? Why didn't Dier try to block it? Why didn't Lloris try to save it?

What a fucking trio of wimps. Absolutely pathetic. I've seen people playing for free who put their body on the line in every single game, because they love to win. These twats are an insult to fans who spend their limited cash to watch this shower of shit. They should be made to meet people as they make their way home, dejectedly, having had their weekend ruined by a complete lack of care and consideration.

Skipp had a bloody good effort there, though, fair play.
No keeper was getting near that

Probably the wisest thing you’ve ever done , it was awful
Yeah I saw their long shot goal on a replay when I woke up after the match, it looked like even through my sleepy eyes that we didn't close him down and he was allowed to wander forward and take his shot unchallened. A lack of focus and determination on our part, especially after what occurred at Southapmton.

This kind of fuckery is increasing.....

There was another of these in the first half too...... Comms "VAR will have a look at that".... No further comment; no replay shown........

This shit is being 'stage' managed like never before.
Kane was flagged off side aswell in the first half when he was going through and had players to his right. Replay showed his was probably on side but the linesman put the flag up straight away instead of letting the play develop and flagging it later.

It's the point being made so hardly irrelevant, the owners have made billions in unrealised profits, the team needed investment, they could have realised some of profit to invest in the team but chose not to.

I'm not acusing them of taking money, I'm agreeing they have made billions and saying its only realisable on sale is bunkum.

No, it is not.
Cause unrealized profit is not something you can reinvest ffs.

Majority shareholder has earned fuck all from Spurs, in fact made 150 mil injection into it.

But that is not even close to being the real point - we have spent money recently. We have just been fucking clueless in this process. Window of Clarke, Sessegnon, Lo Celso and Ndombelly cost us ~250 mil and we got absolutely nothing from it. If that would have been put to good use, situation would be different.

It is not about spending money. It is about quality of doing it.

and yet people question Kane's conversion rate......
my point (I believe) is still valid because he has missed or fluffed some golden chances to shoot - which he did happily last season. or put challenging crosses into the box - and he's made an arse of it.
There's not time before kick off to list Sons failures, but my point is that people are seeing kulusevski as some kind of nailed on selection and not Son, but going back to my earlier point, they play because we know they have the skillset to do it - but everyone is mystified as to why the shine has gone off their production capabilities.

I don't bother with having favourites, but a lot of posters do - and they see no faults in their favourites and almost seem to go overboard on other players, as if to detract from the gloss that is missing off their man.

I stand by what I said prior to game as well. In fact game only proved my point -

Kulusevski can do shitloads more than Son. So even though both are poorer compared to their previous-year-selves, today Kulusevski can win and retain the ball. Son offers nothing but losing it and then half-hardedly jogging back. It is not about favourites, it is about tangible and visible difference in what they don on the field right now.

Skipp had a bloody good effort there, though, fair play.

Is this a joke?? He was the most at blame.

There is no way Dier is blocking that. Sanchez should have been more alert to the danger 100%.
Skipp threw himself in front of it. He was tracking a different guy, but caught slightly off and desperately tried to get in front of the shot, unlike Sanchez (who literally body swerved it, whilst pretending to block it) and Dier, who just stood still and Lloris, who watched it like it was prime Carlos.

Totally correct. And he committed two unforgiveable kicks at a player on the deck and at Dacoure both after the whistle which led to the latter’s reaction. Let’s not beat about the bush, poster boy cheated and got away with it. He could have been carded for his tackles and been off also. Absolutely the right decision to red card Dacoure but FFS Kane the exaggeration is embarrassing.

The cameras showed e spent the immediate aftermath avoiding eye contact with Dyche then justifying himself to other Everton players. Coleman must have been at him for the rest of the game Because he was desperate to chat with him at the final whistle. He was clearly ashamed of his behavior but looking to justify it and prevent any bad-feeling. Cringeworthy.

England captaincy and media darling lates him away with diving yet again. Pity - such a great goalscorer.

On the other hand he was subjected to some brutal tackling by Everton thugs and wasn’t protected by Coot the ref who had a nightmare imv so you can’t really blame him!

Aaah...
I mean...
Can it be any more Spursy?
If we wouldn't have bottled TWO GAMES in a row IN EXTRA TIME against RELEGATION FIGHTING TEAMS, we would be on 3rd place with 4 points buffer ahead of 4th place...

We get mocked and laughed at for perfectly good reasons.

Can't imagine where we'll be at next season when Kane is not dragging us on...

Does not matter it is a failure as a team. Does not matter who is at fault we failed as a team. We failed to score more goals as a team.

The problem is I feel the idea of the team is gone from the current Spurs Squad, we are now a bunch of individuals.

You just have to laugh or you’ll cry. I thought we would get some sort of reaction from conte questioning their professionalism, alas it appears there is no fight in this team. Rip it up and start again.

No leaders anywhere. You can see it plain as day.

Romero did a bit of shouting but you’re right
No leaders and having a weak keeper as captain doesn’t help

At any point in time they could realise those profits and invest. Our owners wealth has increased by billions despite 170m spent on the club

I think a few players can break up the team. Sanchez was the most at fault and made everyone else look worse than they needed to (they were doing their jobs until he failed at his, but they could have done more to cover him). It was just an utterly infuriating lack of effort and bravery.

I'm being a bit harsh on Dier, who was probably think he was limiting the angle, but the 88th minute is absolutely the time for sticking your head on it, which he avoided doing by stopping and and turning his shoulder to it. Weak.

Lloris, I just have no idea. The swerve came late, maybe he thought it was coming to him, but he wasn't reacting either way. Lame.

Again, both those last two were doing the right thing until Sanchez bottles it.

Update: Moura apologised, now I want a full and frank apology from Davinson.

So... then lay out a plan, how should have they "realized profits and invest".

Take dividends out of the club... to put the same money (minus taxes) back to the team?
No logical investor would want to buy like 10% of a club. Basically you put up a lot of money but can't influence anything.

I think only option would have been to list minority stake at a stock exchange like ManU. Say - put 15% to free float and then use proceedings to boost the transfer spending. That could be 750 mil EUR...

BUT once more- spending volumes in past 4 seasons has not been problem at all. Just the value we have got from it ... is different matter.

I want an apology from everyone including Conte, Paratici and Levy for this season. We win as a team lose as team no one should be bigger than a team.

Spurs need to remember when we were a team until that 18/19 season or end of that season.

We lost our identity, we lost our sense of unity as a club from the Board to the fans.

This is why I want Poch back because the connection we had with the manager and the team.

I now am so disconnected from the team I am considering just putting the rest of my tickets after Brighton on exchange.

Or go to a bank and take a personal loan with club as collateral, lots of ways.

I was taking issue with the point that until they sold there was no way to invest utalising the capital increase in the club. I never said within the past 4 seasons, the time to invest was at our strongest to push on.
