How the fuck is he surprised by that? We were the second side to pick it up last season after Chelsea, and played it most of that season!

We used it prior to Chelsea, Poch tried it once or twice the season before Conte came. Most notably against Watford when Troy Denney and his Igalho where looking a effective double team. He has toyed with it for quite some time.

I get the feeling in his heart he wants 4231 but we don't have the mobile/explosive AM's for the role but 3421 suits our squad more and he has become more pragmatic over time.

Just reminiscing over the game. Completely dominated them at their place without even really having to bust a sinew (or at least it looked that way).
We were excellent, but it's going to be a long hard season as an Everton fan on their display. Absolutely toothless.
Not that I give a fuck about them, but their transfer window looks an absolute shambles at this stage.

Perfect game to have before the CL starts. Just what we needed. Everyone played well with Davies probably being MOTM. Sissoko probably had his best game for us and there's an obvious future for him as a center midfielder if we want to pursue it. He was legitimately good and did the work. He blew two chances on goals but it seems that scoring is not his role, but rather he's meant to move the ball from our side up to the opposing goal. And when not on the ball he does a lot of runs to open up space for our goal producers. A not so flashy job, but someone has to do it.

According to Poch's presser it seems he came off with cramp combined with getting taken down. So hopefully he should be back for Swansea.

Kane netting two was just the icing on the cake. Vacation time is over.

She's a finger short for that score...

Losing Barkley and Lukaku is huge for them. In all honesty they were lucky to get Lukaku in the first place and Chelsea mad to let him go.

Kane's still a better striker than him and he'll demonstrate that as the season goes on

Kane is a much better striker than Lukaku, who is a flat track bully. Harry's up & running now...the goals will flow.

Some of sky's ratings are ridiculous vertonghen a 6? Cmon

Jan's the most underrated defender in the league. Him, Toby and Davinson with Wanyama stifling potential attacks won't let many past them this year.

I can't wait to see our team with Aurier and Rose on the wings as well.

Lloris
Alderweireld
Sanchez
Vertonghen
Aurier
Dembele
Sissoko
Rose
Eriksen
Alli
Kane

Subs
Vorm
Davies/ Trippier
Foyth
Dier/ Wanyama
Winks
Son /Lamela
Llorente

BOSH!!!

Also Llorente is going to love being on the end of Davies and Trippiers crosses. Rose and Serge for Kane, Trips and Davies for Fernando. We have top quality alternatives now, how beautiful!

Build on this now Tottenham and never look back!
