When you consider that when we last won it we were record holders.
And yet, now Woolwich have won almost twice as many, that is indeed criminal from everyone attached to the club during those years.
Weirdly, 3 of their Cup wins have been since Emirates sponsored the FA Cup in 2015....

2015/16, 2016/17 and 2019/20...

...it felt like more!

Maybe cos they'd won it what felt like annually throughout the previous decade!

If villa can lose at home to a lge 2, team an away tie against a champ team is no gimme but agreed if we make it to the 5th round who knows - ....All ifs and buts the important thing at the moment is that we are still in the cup!
....and if WE can lose at home to Villa...... :contetellmemore:

Sigh. A reasonable draw and fucking miserable little scrotes like you will still find a reason to whine like a bitch.

Fuck off Moaneen. You’re boring us all.
Yea reasonable draw defo. I was commentating more on the comment about manure draw. Also what I said about contes record in the cups for us is actually factual and not a moan. I’m just saying hopefully he dies better this time as good opportunity to get into 5th round draw. Unfortunately some people don’t like the facts.

Hope we take it seriously this season / time to put this right (and win the cup of course…)

Teams to reach the FA Cup final more recently than Spurs include: Leicester, Watford, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Hull, Wigan, Stoke, Portsmouth, Everton, Cardiff, West Ham, Millwall, Southampton, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Everton, Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland.

We are so desperately due a cup final 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

8 of the 20 Premier League sides have exited so far in Round 3 - Chavs, Newcastle, Everton, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, Brentford and Bournemouth. Loser of Wolves v Dippers replay will make it 9. Too much to hope surely that Woolwich will make it 10 at Oxford tomorrow night.

Bottom line is it’s a draw and tournament already opening up. Chavs have exited in the 3rd round for the first time since 1998. Dippers to make Round 5 will have to negotiate trips to both Wolves and Brighton. Citeh most likely at home to Woolwich in Round 4 so one of those to depart before last 16.

We really should be taking the FA Cup properly serious this year.

Palace as well so 8 out so far. By round 5 they'll be a minimum of 11 prem sides out.

So. Chelsea, Brentford, Newcastle Palace, Villa, Forest and Bournemouth all Prem teams out. We assume Woolwich will beat Oxford tomorrow, which means they get City next round so 1 of those will be out. Liverpool have a tough away replay at Wolves. This honestly could be our best ever chance of a trophy

Defeat at Preston incoming then knowing us!

Thank fuck we didn't draw Stevenage.
Villa fielded only 2 of the same outfield players that played against us. They had one sent off at 85 minutes which resulted in a penalty, then Stevenage scored in the 88th minute while Villa had 10 men.

Comparisons to the Villa side we played dont really stand up.
