Management Fabio Paratici

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I'd argue he's literally the only person at the club who has been good at his job over the last three years.
Was he that good though? Many of his signings are now being relentlessly trashed. Romero, Udogie, Bentancur, Bissouma, Richarlatan all in the get them fucked off asap category. Kulusevski is another who has very mixed levels.

A lot of style but not quite as much substance to Paratici as some would have you believe.

Ok...and I got both barrels loaded over here...can you tell me the successes this besmirching fraudster has had while in association with us? I just don't understand the stanning over him...
Kulu, Sarr, Romero (sort of). Bentancur, Bissouma and Udogie could be valuable players under an actual manager.

Porro is good. Peresic was a decent signing that just didn't work out due to injuries. Gil was a failure but had a very promising reputation when he joined.

I'm not even saying he's been particularly amazing but compared to everyone else working for Spurs he's been a shining light, even when he's literally banned from the entire sport.

imo we have a pretty good squad

with a manger who's not insane and can understand the mystical sorcery called taktix then this lot should be challenging top 4 and a cup wihtout needing too much luck

Why has he jumped up the topic list ? Has he announced he is no longer giving his opinion on various shit players as a “consultant” and gone and got a real job ?

It's too simple to say players could be better under a different manager, not that I disagree with the sentiment per se.

But please don't tell me Bissouma's sh!t is down to the manager, or that some of the rubbish Udogie has dished-up as a so-called defender is directly due to Postecoglou

I think we need a change at the helm, but mostly because it's not working, but I don't think it's going to see sweeping changes to all players. One or two, maybe.

The Kulu, Bentancur, Romero thing was him helping out mates at Juve and came from previous work, not fresh efforts while at Spurs. Beyond the fact that I don't rate any of them and never have...others have or are also cottoning on to the very things about them that gave me pause around their xfers. All may have had their fleeting moments, they are all plagued with the characteristic inconsistency of not being good enough...and we had 18 months to recognize Kulu wasn't.

Sarr, Biss, Udogie have suffered under this manager...Biss also under another manager but I don't credit Paratici for him. He was last year of contract and cheap...DL all the way.

Porro is gash IMO...has no defensive ability and is not improving on that front...50+ million worth of gash when we had a better play already under contract (I think) in Spence.

Sure, but like with Kulu, we shouldn't settle on someone being less shit than the others...keep churning and perhaps we'll fall into the right person because this person isn't good enough...and he's a crook...IMO. Keeping him feels like keeping Kulu...it's clear it's a mistake and we'll be reminded quite often.

But I do take your point about the incompetence from the decision makers...

In normal circumstances I wouldn't care less and would say good riddance to the crooked bluffer

But in true spurs style , we went and found someone even more useless than him in Lange

We're constantly looking to raise the bar on levels of incompetence

Have to admire it really

Lange surely won't survive Ange being sacked. Should be fucked off alongside Munn.

Was Ange Lange’s choice though. I mean I thought this guy was basically the head of squad building and Odoburt, Gray, Bergvall aren’t particularly bad, much better than Hitchens. It’s pretty clear because of our low wage model it’s all about data and youth so I am not sure changing Lange really fixes anything.

Lange has done a great job. This is a poor take that will age poorly

Honestly, I’m not that fussed if Paratici moves on.

If it was a choice between him and Munn to sit on the board representing the football department, I’d choose Paratici but if Paratici goes, I’d be tempted to ask Ange to stay on in some kind of upstairs role with Lange,

VDV
Vicario
Solanke
Odobert
Maddison
Gray
Bergvall
Vuskovic
Danso
Sweet talking Tel
Yes, even Johnson

Ange has an eye for Talent, no question and his ability to persuade players to buy in is pretty well-evidenced.
