I knew the day I saw the first Gazprom-ad in a Champions League match that this would eventually become a problem.

Football and sports in general needs to tie it self up in strict ethical and moral stances.
You can't say on one side that politics does not have a place in sports while being fed from the hands of dirty money.

FIFA, UEFA, IOC, it's all a farce at this point.

Just why is Russia Today ( RT ) still allowed to broadcast in Britain, years after Putin ransacked the BBC's HQ in Moscow, kicked out 200 staff a confiscated all of the computers?

It's still locked up.

I know it won't happen, but Russia must be kicked out of all international sporting competition effective immediately, as far as football is concerned, their national team must be kicked out of World Cup Qualifying, banned from the next UEFA European Championships and any remaining club sides removed from the CL, EL & ECL.

What Russia has done today goes beyond sport, and as far as I'm concerned they should be made an international pariah on all levels.

A Putin crony told the BBC that modest-living Vlad only owns a Moscow flat & a caravan.
But we know different. Below is just one of his properties.

Should be easy to spot and destroy. As it looks like an AT AT Walker from Star Wars, just wind some cable around the legs and pull!

What Dan fails to write in his piece is that his Newspaper in which this is published is owned by Evgeny Lebedev, who is a Russian-British businessman, who owns Lebedev Holdings Ltd, which owns the Evening Standard &The Independent. He is the son of the Russian billionaire oligarch and former KGB agent Alexander Lebedev.

Two years ago Lebedev was handed a peerage in the House of Lords he took the following title: Baron Lebedev of Hampton in our London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and of Siberia in the Russian Federation.

The 40-year-old – a close friend of Boris Johnson – reportedly had to ask Vladimir Putin for permission to call himself ‘Baron of Siberia’ – a request which, evidently, was granted. He will sit as an independent cross-bencher.

Given nice little jobs to ex-cabinet ministers with zero experience of actually doing the job....

And this is before we even get into The Russia Report....
