We'll just have to see, what I like is not knowing really, the uncertainty of whether you are seeing someone for the first time who years down the line you'll be singing their name and hoping they don't leave for Real Madrid. Plenty of development players who have been bigged up as the next best thing and amounted to nothing at all, some others not talked up much but turn out to become amazing talents. I figure Poch must rate him to play him, even accepting we do have the injuries we do.
Loved the tackle on Chilwell I think it was, brilliant seeing academy players though, after him being on loan at the start of the season it is random.

Winks aside, (who has pretty much broken through, barring the injury) looking at the likes of Walker-Peters, Harrison, Amos, Will Miller, Lesniak, Shashoua, Edwards... some will, and some won't make it at Spurs long term. That's just the nature of the beast. It's not for us to pile the pressure on any individual (Edwards) just 'cos he shows flashes of brilliance at Youth level... Youth team level and First team level are two very different things. Just ask Josh Onomah & Nathan Oduwa!
But at least we're the type of club who will give some, if not most of them a chance to prove themselves...
Just as Lesniak came on the bloke who I was sitting next to turned around to me and said
"Lesniak? Never heard of him....has he only got one bollock?"
We both proceeded to piss ourselves for a few minutes....
10 odd mins later he turns to me again...
"That Lesniak is really composed on the ball....for somebody with 1 bollock!"
Seriously though, the kid was quality, looked really cool, calm and tidy on the ball.

I know nothing about this kid. But what I love about our club is a kid like this coming through under Poch and with the senior squad around him, could potentially be a world class player in a few seasons and playing every week. Alright, maybe he won't be, not all our development squad players are going to make it that far, but you just never know, this kid could be the next best thing.
