Villa doing a lot of business - selling one player to a club before getting one or more players in from that club, curiously at similar fees so not a lot of cash (at least net, if cash does change hands) actually changes hand.

Did similar deal in selling Douglas Luis within the last week or so.

Curiously the rules allow any profit to be taken in one year on a sale whilst fees buying players can be spread over the life of the player contract (eg 5 years), all of which improves their ffp position, And all done before 30 June ffp deadline. Must be just a 'coincidence'

Its a variant on why Paratici got a ban.

Paratici got a world wide ban for this

That's standard accounting rules which FFP is built upon.

agreed

Its less common that one club buys and sell players from another club for about the same amounts. And rinse and repeat days later. Just a coincidence both sets of transaction s just before 30 June.

Reminder to self 'be less suspicious of unusual coincidences, especially after Swiss Rambler has identified Aston Villa the club as having FFP problems'.

Its an absolute farce. A continuous game of cat and mouse. PL thinks of rules, clubs find workarounds. PL thinks of ever more complicated rules, clubs still find workarounds.

Chelsea bought and sold their own stadium/training ground/hotels.

Now Chelsea, Villa, Everton and Newcastle are bidding for each others youth team players to give each other cash to offset PSR/FFP deficits.

Bhoely is actually a very clever guy. The PL is basically chasing its tail. Through endless law suits and rule breaking.

Personally, I think its brilliant. Fuck off PL/Goverbent and leave the game alone.
