It seemed to be a game where the players were really up for it , why that’s been lacking all season , I don’t know , is it their fault , Anges lack of motivation? It’s a cliche but every game should be a cup final, we do seem to have a fragile mindset but it’s been there for years .
Personally, I think it’s a comfort thing , we have a lot of players who are content in giving 5/10 performances

Genuine question. Didn't catch the game but watched the highlights. Looked like they were all over us for the most part but obviously highlights don't portray a game well. What was the general consensus? Good performance or good result with another below par showing?

They had more possession but we generally defended well, we were playing long balls that meant we could break occasionally. There was a 10 minute period in the second half when they should have scored. We moved to a back 5 and that settled us. We ran the clock down very well.
wonder if we had a real singing section and less tourist we could get noise like palace & Liverpool, the crowd trying to make it hard for opposition to play
I’ll give you palace but the Liverpool atmosphere is a myth ,
Our place has been rocking on certain nights
It was a brilliant performance from every player. We were solid, of course you need a bit of luck and we got it with the chances they missed. One header just fell the wrong side of the post but that’s what you need in games like this. But make no mistake about it, this was the best performance we’ve seen from spurs in 18 months.
