Player Fraser Forster

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Can’t even be bothered to be annoyed at him now we won. We all knew before the game he’s poor with the ball at his feet. The second goal was worse though because he dilly dallied rather than twatting the ball away immediately.

Anyway, now maybe the players will stop passing it back to him unnecessarily.

I don't blame him for anything.

How about allow him to belt the ball away from goal if the heat is too hot, without fear of sacrilege.

Guy has prevented a fair few goals since coming in.

Let him focus on using his capable hands and not have his head full of doubt about things going wrong with his feet.

If he's not given that option his confidence will plummet, along with his save ratio.

I want to see Ange skilfully MANAGE this situation with Forster.

First goal I blame firmly on Ange forcing him to do shit he's not equipped to do. Second goal is clearly his fault as he had ages to deal with it.
Hopefully we'll stop giving him the ball under pressure now. Adapt or die Ange.

Head went after the first.

Clear from the look of him that he just doesn't feel comfortable with it all.

Ange must cater to him.

It's never been part of his game.

The key question arising form this is: if Ange is zero-negotiable on passing out - however perilous the situation - then why didn't he buy/request a backup keeper who is comfortable/capable with their feet?

No one is to blame for the first two goals outside of Fraser. Not Ange, not Bissouma, not Gray.

They were two unbelievable mistakes, particularly the second which happens maybe once in a career for most professional keepers. He can be at fault while also not being a total cunt that we need to get rid of. Mistakes happen and they usually don’t happen in the same game, let alone with minutes of each other.

He has been a breath of fresh air since coming in for Vic overall.
