So Jose explain this...Direct quote from Mourinho:
If Gareth Bale is completely fit and ready to play 90 minutes of every game, of course he would.
Goes onto talk about his quality, but basically implies Bale's still struggling with fitness issues, and can't play full matches.
Jose can be blamed for a lot, but I think it's rewriting history to say Bale's lack of success so far is all down to Mourinho.
Bale has shown glimmers of his quality, but he needs to get his fitness to the right levels and prove he still gives a shit.
A fully fit Bale should be in our starting 11 without question. But it's not as simple as that, he's had so many issues with injuries, fitness, illness, and so on.
He was our best player today. Hopefully this is a turning point.
It's complete bullshit, Bale doesn't do the defensive tracking he requires in his system. Therefore he won't play him because that would suggest his methods are flawed.Should have started today end of. Jose talking about fitness etc is just him covering his arse. Start the fucker, we go a couple of goals ahead then take him off. Negative bloody approach as per this manager.
Nobody said he had to play 90 minutes of every game. But he should have started far more games than he has done otherwise how was he going to attain that match-fitness?Direct quote from Mourinho:

He started the season hurt. When he came back he was playing in Europa to get some match fitness. When he started subbing on in the Premier League he looked miles off it for the most part. When his fitness started to improve enough for him to start in the League, he got hurt again.Nobody said he had to play 90 minutes of every game. But that would mean Jose would need to compromise his system to accommodate Bale. And we know Jose would never put the team ahead of himself.
I agree.So Jose explain this...
you deem him 'ready' to start cup and europa games but not ready to start league games?
