I think he will be excellent.. and if he can't do it for 90 mins (twice a week) then Lamela, Lucas and Bergwijn are there and ready. Lamela and Lucas have been very handy lately. It is healthy to have this choice.

I want to believe this, but the only photos we've seen have been of Bale training alone to get back to fitness/from his mild knee injury - and that was on Thursday.



I just can't really see him having trained with the first team yet unless we've managed to keep an astonishingly tight lid on it.

Just realised who “the guy who works with Jose” is.

Ledley.

Man never trained with the team. Just swam. And was fucking awesome.

Seeing Gareth run around with a ball and some sticks in the ground will be enough for him to evaluate his levels.
And also his 50m freestyle time.
 
Just bumping this because it wasn’t on the front page and that ain’t right! ... GARETH FUCKING BALE , I still can’t quite believe he will be playing in the Lillywhite very soon.

I was just recently thinking how I feel there's not a lot of training pictures that get floated around like there used to be.
