How do you know that the reason for his sub was the reason you're giving? How do you know that wasn't the plan all along? Stop talking bollocks will you, you're supposed to be Spurs!
Gedson was poor yesterday and got subbed for that reason.
Since he has arrived he has shown a nice touch here and a nice touch there. From a defensive point of view, his pressing last night was really lacking in intensity, which was a problem throughout the team. And he didn't take good care of the ball when he had it. In fact, he fucked it away so cheaply at times that it was difficult to know what he was thinking. He was ball-watching as Angelino zoomed past him in the second half to lay on that really good chance for Schick.
He was only poor because like everyone one who plays RCM they spend most of the game baby sitting aurier
That is actually a fair point but JJ was having a go at Gedson all game because he was half-hearted.
JJ was a feeble little footballer that didn't achieve fuck all in his career. His time has been and gone, Gedson is a kid just starting out. Jenas as your source? Come on mate stop having a laugh.
You also said you remembered seeing JM chatting to Gedson at HT but he didn't take the instructions. Stop talking nonsense about a kid we know very little about, he's Spurs stop jumping on him so early on about nothing at all that's true or got substance!

I don’t get the Dele hate. I really like the kid. He is a great footballer, IMO.
He has produced goals and assists since JM’s arrival. Maybe the problem is people expect 20 goals + 15 assists every season. That is unreasonable.
Pressing? When did we even try that?
There was lots of positional pressing but not enough aggressive pressing.

He’s got a bit of technical skill, a bit of speed and whilst he didn’t shower himself in glory on Wednesday defensively he looks like he won’t shy away from a tackle once he’s got the pace of the game.
I said earlier in this thread I think he could end up being a bit of a utility Ramires type player for us... for £40m though? I wouldn’t want to call it but then we should have learnt our lessons about judging players after a handful of games. He could be a good high energy player for us once he gets going and god knows we need a few of those.
