I think Lo Celso has big potential. But he needs to get a hug from Dele. I have seen how Dele tries to be the big man in the team, so many times. Not celebrating and pointing fingers

Since we've now made this permanent, some will say we brought a player in January and Levy is really backing the manager.

Hope we do buy someone and its a striker.
Erm......we did buy a player in January

Gedson Fernandes loan for £4m, Lo Celso Permanent for £27m, Bergwijn for £25m and Piatek on loan for £8m with Eriksen, Walker-Peters and Rose for £35m-£40m would be a beaut of a window.

Would leave our Jan financially looking -£25m but with solid investment across four different players for different reasons. Bang up for that in today's market.

But then LoCelso counts, as he was just bought. Either way the count is 1.
It’s just a crap argument to be honest.
The Levy bashers are clutching at straws as they reel back at the thought of us strengthening the squad in January and clearing out the powder puff Eriksen.

“b b b but, it wasn’t a striker”
“Errrrr errrrrr Lo Celso doesn’t count....”
“Hmmmmm we don’t need Bergwijn”
“Wait wait uhmmm Gedson is a loan”

Then it comes to dismissing every single striker linked before they’ve even signed. All bases covered this window, despite nobody expecting a single thing to happen.

So what is the total transfer fee?
They were talking about £50-£60m in the summer.
£27m + what in the end?
Good question! It seems a bit opaque this deal. Is it 8m loan fee plus £27m to make it permanent? That would mean Betis getting £29.6m and PSG £5.4m. Seems a bit low ball.
And do we pay more if we qualify for Champions league again?
Edit: I'm tending to think the loan fee was £15m which would make the final amount £42m regardless of wether we finish in the top four or not, which is still a bargain.

27 million + the loan fee of 17 million that we already paid. So a total of 44m . Good price for all parties involved really if he carries on like his like 2-3 games.
