I think this is about as good as we can probably put out with Bentancur coming on later.
It’s not a horrible lineup but we’d need some big individual moments to win, especially Son, Kulu, and GLC. Plus very little ability to change the game with the bench.

Would have preferred he picked it up vs the Chavs, but I'm relived tbh..... He needs to get that monkey off of his back.

The safe, possibly even cowardly, choice was to play PEH, that's what really pisses me off about today. Totally at odds with what Ange likes to preach, disappointed in him today.
Bentancur would've been more palatable, but only because he's silkier, ultimately though it still would've been overly conservative.
To be fair PEH has had some decent performances. Clearly is a professional and works hard. Plus has been consistently available and able to show what he can do. Not sure we’ve seen any of those in Lo Celso. Bentancur also working his way back to fitness.
