Player Guglielmo Vicario

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Maybe in Isolation you would think that, but look at the Fulham game, Vic has previous and Carragher explains it really well, he's giving it to Gray on his weaker foot , its the definition of a hospital pass.
Oh, there’s no question it’s mostly on Vic.

Look at the bullying from corners debacle, the PSG and Fulham goals, the Brighton first goal earlier this season etc etc etc. he’s constantly beaten by distance shots despite the occasional worldie he pulls off. He’s a decent shot stopper and reaction saves at times but in the whole shit at everything else.

They guy is a fucking liability. He is just unfortunately the best of what we have. 😅

This cunt better be dropped for our next game!!!

Kinsky may not be great (he isn't), but come on, we can't let this Italian fraud away with sabotaging our club

The way some senior players are playing, the only plausible explanation is that they are semi-intentionally doing to it flush out the coaching staff.

Even in the clip, Romeo didn't give a fuck when the ball was lost. He was stood watching the whole time.

Most of them will only get 10 seasons at the top - crazy to just chuck one away like that

He's about par for a Premier League goalkeeper in that respect, not a single thing he saves is a matter of "nobody else could have done that".

His reputation for shot stopping prowess comes from making a 3 course meal out of even the most comfortable saves, and for how far below average the rest of his game is making the one alright part stand out so much.

hes just an out and out donkey, his body language and shape is all wrong when the ball is at his feet. hes a 90s keeper, hed be ok if it was just shot stopping and blasting the ball as far away as possible. asking someone like him to actually play with actual technique is asking for trouble, which is why we keep getting into trouble!!
Disagree with the 90's keeper he would let in even more goals he has had the odd amazing game but most weeks he only top ability which is shot stopping looks better because of his abysmal foot work. The there is the fact he has no depth perception as a keeper if people told me he had weak vision in one eye I would not be suprised. His tenure as Spurs has made Lloris's ten years at Spurs into proper percpective. I think he is probably one of the Bottom 3 first choice Keepers in the league.

true, 90s had more long range shots, which he does seem to struggle with.

I would be surprised, as I assume he has well-advanced and serious issues with both eyes.

100% on Vic. He's looking a Gray and whats around him. Gray is only looking at Vic.

Even if he has to play this ball, play it so Gray can turn it straight to his (Gray's) left as was the plan.
Exactly, The best option Vic had was to go to VDV. The next best option was to go long. The next best option - actually maybe not the next best, and a bit risky, but an option that shouldn't have been calamitous - was to go to Gray's LHS, where Gray was signalling. The worst option, the one he chose, was to tuck Gray up with a slow bobbling pass and an opponent up his arse

Romero is as big and issue as Vicario but its even more complicated. Honestly Id sell him. A less able but more reliable player will make us better. Magain for Vicario, Tabsoba for Romero, Alex Scott for Bentancur. Antonee Robinson for effectively Porro. Think these are achievable patches till we know what the hell we do next.

i agree.

Giving him a big contract was a mistake.

We saw how bad Kinsky is at Newcastle in the cup.

Vicario is 3/5. Kinsky is 2/5.

Kinsky's kicking is better, but he plays like his hands aren't in his gloves.
Apart from Vicario making Two Mistakes against Forest. A mistake against Fulham, maybe two because he stand still on his line for Fulham's first. He was even poor against Newcastle's first and to top it off I think he actually makes other players panic.

Keepers fault - why the fuck didn't he play a simple pass to VDV? Its a terrible bobbling pass Gray had to take a touch with - yes he showed for the ball but Vic is the senior player who can see everything in front of him. Gray has obvs been told to show for these passes but the keeper should know not to do it in that situation.

Very much in favour or replacing Vicario now, we would do well to sell him back to Italy - I am sick of the sight of him and his stupid mistakes. Hugo was an amazing shot stopper too but a clown at times with his feet as well. Either play to his strengths or get a new keeper.
Putting it on a teenager as well and blaming everyone but himself AGAIN is becoming hateful as well.
Let's go from the start.

Romero, a supposed ball playing behemoth fannies about on the ball. Instead of passing it forwards, he turns like the Titanic and plays a casual back pass to an inept goalkeeper, allowing their player to close Vicario down.

Van de Ven displaying his usual lack of intelligence, despite being totally free, fails to get himself into position to receive a pass.

Archie, for whatever reason, sprints past a Forest player who realises the ball will go to Archie, so follows him back towards our goal.

The cunt in goal, has only one idea in his hollow scull, not a punt up the pitch, or wide to either centre half, instead a pass to the edge of the area to a player sprinting towards his own goal.

Final fuck up, Archie rather than play a simple first time square pass decides to take a touch and open his body, presenting the ball to their player. The rest is history.

Four players who need a very speedy journey to Oz in the hope of finding courage, heart and intelligence.

VDV didn't do anything wrong tbh. The vast bulk of the fuck up was on Vic. Romero's play might have been uninspired, but it wasn't dangerous. Gray was slightly at fault, but again, it's really on Vic.

I think the overall potion for success at the top level is that 'giving a fuck' is a far superior tool than simply being talented.

People will now misapply aggression and passion with 'giving a fuck', I'm sure, but they are not the same thing.

Lamela gave a fuck
