Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Some of the names that you’ve listed and even starred as “not up for debate” are pathetic. You deserve flogging in public for your stupidity you oik.

also, born in 1993 but you have 97 in your username, a bit suspect no?
Robbie Fowler a better striker than Harry Kane? Seriously? He was in his prime around 1995-1997 so you was 4 years old watching him, right?
Dickhead.
oik......:mourlmao:

No, I miss the Kane that had one focus which was scoring, not contributing in the other areas too. Look at Haaland and to a degree Lewandowski, it's so pleasing to just watch a striker focusing on scoring, as other players could do the other creative contributions.

Btw I'm not saying Kane should switch styles to what he's doing now, as outside of Ndombele we don't have anyone on Kane's level with creative attacking ideas. So yes I also miss the team back then, as they could help him out which we can't now.

Cant help but feel but an all out striker Kane in this set up would be considered "finished"

What?
He was fine as he was.
You think Jose told him not to shoot as well as he used to?

Or you think that Jose told him to run really slowly now?

I think Jose has instructed him to drop deep to help create, yes.

Which in turn means he spends less time in the box and has a lack of service due to him not being able to find himself with a pass.

Its a testament to how good Kane is that he can even succeed in this set up. An absolute legend.

And when Kane returns to the 2017 level which at some pint he will, they will all say “see!!! See!!!” Hes back!!!

While denying that he had ever regressed

I think the argument can also be said of Kyle Walker though. We haven't looked anywhere near as good without him either. Have we?

2015 - 2017 was a magical time. And I can't put that down to any one player. It was the perfect blend of a young hungry team, a progressive coach and White Hart Lane. It's a shame we never won anything with that lot.

But I know I'll always remember them.
I'm trying to forget it 😂 the last 2 and a bit years has been such a flattening experience compared to the trajectory we seemed to be on .. so hard to readjust expectations to what the team is now capable of. The drop-off from prime Toby and Jan to what we have now is massive as well.

15/16 28 goals in 38
16/17 30 goals in 29
17/18 30 goals in 37 (corrected)
18/19 17 goals in 28
19/20 18 goals in 29
(Last two seasons a combined 6 assists so let’s not pretend it was his change in role)

20/21 13 goals in 21 and on course for the same as last year.
Scoring 10-15 less goals a season in the same playing time and people say he’s better now
