Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Pre-Covid, post-Covid. If DL can use covid as an excuse to not recruit like we've needed then it has to be considered in selling too.
Levy is not to be trusted. Pre / post. He is always ENIC first. Whatever happens next do not forget there is not one example of him retaining a significant player. And very few examples of succession planning. Where is Dembele’s replacement ? For example. The worst thing about the loss of Kane is that ENIC remain. And it’s rinse and repeat. Again.

Don't see why Kane did what he did. I hope he gets his transfer. I however believe the person he should be most pissed off with is his Brother. He is the idiot that allowed h to sign his last contract.

A contract protects both parties. He was pretty much ensured his salary, even when he was injured. I didn't hear him complain then. Yes, he made a deal with Levy but it benefitted both parties. He played with a shitty team but that shitty team still helped him score the goals he did.

Levy isn't saying No to a transfer. I'm not a fan of him, but in this instance he is being fair. If Grealish is worth 100 mil, Kane is definitely worth 150 mil. If Kane wants to leave he should maybe change agents because I'm sure a monkey can market him better.
Its almost like hiring a completely unexperienced and uneducated dolt to manage your business affairs simply because you both resided in the same uterus at one point is a fucking stupid idea.

Footballers really are thick, sometimes.

Just because something worked with Modric doesn't mean it will work here and it seems that in the Modric case part of the reason it worked was a promise he would go if he stayed for the year, that bridge has already been burned with Kane.

I am not saying that Kane staying will result in a disaster for us just that Kane staying because Levy refuses to sell him and not because he chooses to stay is not a good situation for us.
He agreed to the contract. No one forced him to sign it. If he hadn't he'd be free now already. He wanted more money. He got more money.

I'm not on board with anyone refusing to honour their contract. Its the very height of cuntery.

Ohhhh you sexy beast.

I don’t see how he can reverse course now. He’s going to have to stay away from training until a move happens or the window closes, far too embarrassing to come crawling into the training ground now.

If he thinks this behaviour is going to reduce the price he’s mad, if anything this will only increase it. Every day he refuses to show up should add another £5m to the price.

None of that means that him coming back to us unhappy is a good situation for us. Which is what I was responding to. Just because Modric had a good season after wanting to leave doesn't mean Kane will in a different situation.

I think he should have got anything in writing, but if Levy promised him that he could leave at a certain point in his deal and then backed out on it then it is Levy who is in the wrong.

Yes Kane may have been naive to trust a scumbag like Levy, but perhaps he felt what he had given the club was worth something. If Levy has backed out on that deal then Kane is well within his rights to act how is he is.

This is 100% on Levy. Kane is and has done nothing wrong at all.

He could save face by coming in tomorrow. Admitting he played his hand wrong and getting back to training.

Everyone knows he wants to go. He could still go but he has to be made to realise that it's not up to Spurs. We need a proper offer that doesn't take the piss.

Train and play for the club until we get that offer.

So the club should further shoot themselves in the foot out of spite?

From what I’ve seen, (only media, I’m not claiming any ITK here) he was due to take a Covid test today and start training tomorrow. This could be media BS in the light of pretty weak news worthy or reporting elsewhere. If he is in tomorrow and all blows over then fine. If not he needs to be told no move whatever offer this year. Three years is a lot of contract and player power needs jumping on wherever possible. Such a shame if it goes that way but my only concern is the club. Fuck Citeh and fuck Harry, if that is the case.
