So what some are suggesting/hoping is that Conte comes in and plays a style of football that suits Kane’s lack of pace and mobility as opposed to fucking him off and getting someone in who isn’t a boring slug?

This notion also suggests that had we had a fast and mobile striker under Nuno, we wouldn’t have been so shit.

But it’s all about Kane baby……just like that, overnight we’re Kane FC again
We better hope Harry scores some world class penalties and tap ins against bottom table squads otherwise Harry isn't going to be worth a sack of potatoes and Conte isn't going to have any money to spend.

Not surprised. Under top managers he can produce the goods.
He improved as a footballer under Mourinho.

You can say the same thing for every member of the squad, it's natural to want to put the work in for someone you respect as opposed to someone you don't, it's not exclusive to Kane.

Yep, even Son in the last couple of games under Nuno looked borderline depressed and put in shit performances. The whole squad was bang out of form, nobody was playing for Nuno aside from maybe Eric Dier. We put out teams of mostly full internationals in the EL and lost to farmers FFS.

From top to bottom nobody seemed to really want to play for him, or believed he could do anything. Kane demanded ambition from the club and we hired a sacked Wolves manager, it would've just confirmed we had none.

Let's see how he does with a proper coach now. I'm excited.

Basically the conclusion is that Raul Jiminez is a better footballer than Kane. Under the same manager and even shittier squad, he produced infinitely better results than Kane.

1 goal for Kane in 9 apps under Nuno vs 17 goals and 6 assists a couple seasons ago for Jiminez under Nuno at Wolves.

Give Jiminez proper support and a supporting cast, a top manager, and he would score 25+ PL goals and get 10-15 assists, easy. He'd also do all the dirty work and play to win instead of individual glory hunting.

None of that air of privilege and superiority that often comes with high profile English players.
