I've assumed that he may be serious about being a kicker in the NFL as he has stated his desire for that in the past. Whether it can be done is another thing but it makes sense to get his face over there if he is after some sort of career post spurs.

I love him and to watch as a footballer he's brilliant, but off the pitch he's extremely vanilla and boring. I love that about him, he's never going to cause any controversy and I think the reason his attempted exit was so messy is that he genuinely didn't know how to do it. But god knows why they think he's gonna be good on Fallon, good on him though!
