I'm as hacked off as any other fan with him whoring himself to City in the summer. He is however entering contract negotiations, and his representatives are duty bound to get him the best possible deal. By having credible interest from other clubs you're able to use this to your advantage to secure better terms at your current club.
That being said, it still smarts when I think back, and I do feel he owes the clubs something due to all the unrest it caused so this news isn't appreciated. You would have thought his team would have learned a valuable lesson or two... clearly not!
Can't see Sonny going anywhere TBH, he's loved, well rewarded, a key player, we supported him through all his national service issues, and released him for all those International games that helped him avoid having to do it.
He will only go when we don't need him, even then I can see him moving straight into coaching. We talk of legends, Sonny for me could be one, so much respect shown from both sides.

Harry Kane is reportedly willing to sign a new contract at Tottenham.
The England captain pushed to join Manchester City last summer and is understood to have turned down a contract extension shortly after reluctantly conceding that he would be staying at Spurs.
But the Evening Standard claim Kane is now pleased by Spurs' progress under Antonio Conte and increasingly hopeful he can fulfil his ambitions of winning a trophy with his boyhood club next season.
Kane is yet to hold talks with the club, with two years to run on his current deal, and has been focussed on securing Champions League qualification.
I expect more Son jerseys will be sold next season than even Kane
