I don’t think Levy will sell and I don’t think Kane will really care. In one year he will be able to choose any club in the world and command a far greater salary on a free transfer.

Real do have a habit of paying big money for the very top players tbh. £100m for Kane now does seem quite a high price, but RM are definitely one of the few who could/would pay that.
Despite the poor public discourse around Kane, I get the sense that the managers/directors of the biggest clubs rate him really highly, and the thought of hiring him makes their nether regions tingle. There are definitely valid arguments for why you'd pay £100m for him.
He is the best number 9/10 hybrid in the world. There was debate vs Benzema but he is in decline so he is the only player capable of replacing. You could talk about Mbappe but he is more of a wide forward so fits Rodrygo’s position better than as a replacement for Benzema.
If Real want the best it’s Kane, everyone else is either not as good or doesn’t fit the role.
The offer of moving to Madrid and especially at his age is a hard one to pass up. I thought he’d move abroad at some stage but not yet. I’d hate to lose him I really would but it would be the most bearable move if he is to go.
Why would they move for him in the summer though rather than wait 6 months and pick him up on a pre-contract, which would be so much cheaper for them.

I don't see how the other poster is crediting Kane specifically with the Ajax and City performances. I remember that CL run pretty well. Our group stage was fucking nightmare, and we got through by the skin of our teeth, in large part thanks to Kane.
The rest of the CL run without him was a wild ride, but it probably doesn't happen without his contributions at the start.

The point is that you shouldn't cite such a crazy one off event as basis for any meaningful conclusion.
Leaving his contract run down takes it out of their hands. You then have Chelsea, United, Newcastle offering him massive wages, a chance to stay in his home country, and a certainty of breaking PL scoring record. Whatever we hear about Kane being open to a move abroad, I think he'd prefer England. The sad thing is, I think he probably wishes Tottenham hadn't fucked up the last several and could fight for trophies with us.
A bit simplistic I would say.
They need a rebuild and the sense of buying what will be a 30 year old striker is not one that makes sense to me.
But it's speculation for now and might be aimed at either forcung Kanr to reveak his hand or even to prompt Mbappr into angling for a move.
But Ksne ain't taking Madrid to trophies and signing him also makes getting Haaland (in the future) that bit more complex.
