Like a lot of footballers, Kane's not a very smart lad so can excuse his stupidity to a degree.

Sounds to me like he is just repeating what Conte said in a press conference - a very toxic manager that never really gave a damn about my club. I would wager he was in Kane's ear saying those same things towards the end of his tenure whilst urging him to leave the club, which Kane has now regurgitated publicly too.

Also get the impression Conte and Mourinho both turned up sucking him off, building everything around him, saying he will "explode" under them etc, whereas Ange turned up - didn't try and convince him too hard, because his system is what our play would be based around, not massaging the ego of 1 player.

We would have been better with Kane in Ange's system, but we are far better off with Ange's system without him.

Well I'm pretty sure that last bit has changed since Ange came in if it wasn't like that before. No way he is going to be happy with the scoreline if we played badly.

Are we to believe Poch, Conte and Jose would be dancing around if we won 3-1 but didn't play well? Or is he refering to the players?

Anyway to me that just shows more that he is playing in a farmer's league than a 'top club mentality'.
 
Tonight's interview, after the Ukraine game was the clincher, wasn't it? Now that he's no longer Spurs Kane has dropped the parochial "Yeah, no, defnitely" in favour of the far more International Superstar, "Yeah. no, for sure."

One thing I would say to Kane, of course not winning at Bayern is a disaster when it's essentially a one team league (you can say Dortmund but they proved last season they've got no bottle).

If Spurs played in the Scottish Premiership with the same squad I'd say dropping points would be a disaster too.
 
The weak mentality thing begins with you and your close mates within the team not turning up in the big moments.

I'd get this guy giving sly digs to the club if we had done him wrong, but we never did. People are saying he fell out with the board after the city debacle but they allegedly only bid 80m until much later in the window. He ended up going for 120m including add ons for a year left. The club and the fans never did Kane wrong. He can go fuck himself talking the way he is

He could have easily enough let the debate start and end with Munich. He didn't. If he didn't feel the same pressure of losing wearing our shirt, then that's on him.
