It's pretty standard to give attacking players and full backs at least one game off over the Xmas period. I think you'll find that's what most clubs did. Every team we played rotated while we kept naming the same players. The guy's just stuck two fingers up to Sport Science and the players and club are paying the price. Worst managerial appointment in history.
From the perspective of negotiations for a replacement. For a club that’s been opaque about injuries to suddenly be so forthcoming. It’s bizarre.

Not really. Confidence as a youngin is an important thing. Throwing someone into the deep end doesn't always work. And it can certainly backfire if they're too young.
