So you have never left a job for greater responsibility (promotion) higher pay or because you became disenchanted with the leadership of your company?
You must still work in your first job.
It isn't about pointing fingers at Kane, he has been at the club way longer than the average footballer does.
Sad to see people now leaping onto the Sammy bandwagon and shitting the guy.
This stupid accusation that Kane goes missing in finals, I seem to remember they were against 3 clubs with superb defenders, and financially doped in terms of spending power, for the purchase of great players.
You don't generally get to play against clubs that can't defend in finals, because that's how they got there, by winning. Kane is an obvious threat, so he is heavily marked and clubs will take special measures to restrict his opportunities, only lately with Son have we had a player who can capitalise on the space left by the additional attention he gets.
I'm going to be gutted to see him go, I would have loved to see him here for another 5 seasons, becoming a club legend, which he pretty much has, even at this stage of his career.
I'm glad I was around to see him play for the club I have supported all my life.
Please don't let it be Chelsea.
You've conflated every wet blanket's comments into this response to my post, why? That's not what I've said at all.
1. Players leave football clubs all of the time, I've no problem with this.
2. Players, these days, hold all the cards even when the contract favours the Club, I've no problem with this.
3. It is Kane that wants to leave. Fact. I'm OK with this because I accept players leave football clubs, it's no skin off my nose if he stays or if he leaves. I support Tottenham Hotspur, not Kane.
4. Kane is a wonderful player, one of the best players in his position in the world but this doesn't change the fact that it is Kane that wants to leave, it's his call, he's calling these shots right now.
(5. BTW Do I think he'll leave? No.)
(6. Might that present a problem next season? Yes. The type of manager I want us to bring in would be the type of manager that would have a major problem with a player not wanting to be at the Club he plays for, I want a manager that believes in EVERY player pulling in the same direction and for each other and has no time for players who are no onboard ready to fight for the cause. I've put this point in brackets because it's an unknown and speculation on Kane's state of mind if he doesn't get is move and/or we don't have a manager).
7. My comments were aimed at those who point fingers and look to blame someone, I'm NOT one of those. If you care to reread what I wrote I was saying to those looking to point the finger than they should do so at the person that wants to leave, they booed Walker, so I assume they'll boo Kane too, it's just they aren't and are looking to blame someone else, which I find totally bizarre and inconsistent.
8. I'm not booing Kane (just as I didn't boo Bale or Walker or Modric), he can go, he can stay, I don't really give too much of a shit.
