Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

so difficult for us to find and sign players that will hit the ground running and with the season on top of us i hope the situation with harry does not get ugly .I have little faith that we will get in all the upgrades that is so badly needed hopefully am wrong on that of course .
Maybe this is why Ings is a good shout
He had a good season last year

And to those who say City must now deal with the monster they created, absolutely right.

If strikers are like gold dust and if Kane is the top of the pyramid as some of our fans and Guardiola must believe then it's 170 to 200 million with 3 years on a contract still to run..

Or Kane stops hiding behind the media and openly requests a transfer in which case Levy should ask for 180 million out of spite.

And yes, a deadline as we are the ones who will be then left with a void and with no time to fill it. Not acceptable.

Contracts are offered to players to increase the transfer value should the player want to leave or the club wants to sell.

Kane is being hounded by our own fans for signing a 6 year deal, but if he hadn't signed the deal the club they support would be in a far worse position than they are now.

As has been said. We hold all the cards and can demand an extraordinary fee because of Harry's extraordinary loyalty in the past and his extraordinary performances on the pitch.

The guy deserves nothing but the utmost respect.
I get most of what you say and if he was to come out and commit himself one way or the other he would get my respect but, as I said earlier, the fact that he’s done neither is beginning to grate on me and I’m sure many others

I'm not making shit up Daniel what I'm saying is with the pandemic hitting club finances they might want to keep some back.
The club are hardly the ambitious type are they so holding back some money isn't going to stop us from being champions is it.
But didn’t we spend the Bale money?

Unwisely perhaps in most cases but we spent it nonetheless

And his comments during the Euros where he talked so much about team. Would he effectively deride his England colleagues in the way he did about his own team mates?

Sorry I don't see respect in that towards this club, as well as giving such an interview during the season.

Utterly contemptuous.

IMO Ings + a high quality younger player is a sound succession plan should we require one.

Sorry no chance.

Ings would be a massive risk. We need 2 strikers with sound injury records.

One with established quality and another, both of whom can vie for a starting place, play as a duo, one of whom needs to be pacey.

If we go for Ings that would be a really poor show and be a dereliction of sense.

Just a thought are there any fans that do not want to win a trophy? So if Kane believes he cannot win a trophy then why should the fans not believe him and transfer their allegiance to MC as well? Then the ground would be empty. Clearly that is not happening and why is it different for Kane than the fans which I thought included him and his family. Will the family stop supporting Spurs and are they going up to Manchester with him?
Hes spent 7 years not winning a trophy. He may have 3-4 more good years left as a top player. If hes not careful, he may end up having a career with zero trophies at a club that where the owners dont care about winning anything. Fans dont have such time limits.

25m on Ings would be no more of a risk than any of blokes peeps are keen to talk about us signing (good player; prem proven) and he would give whoever else we bought time to adapt to the EPL.... He could also easily play alongside another ST.

If Igula is Peter Seller's, this lemon is Peter Cook!

Always makes me laugh when they forget that their post is actually still out there for everyone to read, yet swear blind that's not what they posted🤣

"The club won't reinvest that back into the squad, so from their angle they are laughing," being the sentence in question.

Brains of a rocking horse...
Ok Igula, as you disagree...

You can be Peter Cook.

I’m good like that.

I have been a fan for over 60 years and yes I have seen us win trophies but there is a time limit and I am not sure if I will see us win another. less likely if we sell our best player which we have not done since Bale.

Past caring these days.....players who love the Club as much as we do are rare as rocking horse shit...the only certainty is we will still be here after they are long gone so if they want to be remembered with affection they'd do well to manage the manner by which they leave the Club.

I have no idea if the oilmen are playing games with the Grealish situation and using it to make us blink or they really believe that Harry is not for sale......they would be wrong on both assumptions.
