If Real are prepared to pay 140mil extra for Mbappe to basically get him a season early, it really does show what a bunch of cheapskates City were over Kane.

Though the Kane brothers are too thick to realise.

He’s said it several times. Not just once. Not sure why it’s not believable. It’s not like being an online PR person is a tough job to get. Almost every meaningful mid/large sized business have full time social media/online PR managers nowadays.

As I mentioned before, I’d be more concerned about his mental well-being if he wasn’t getting paid, with the shocking amount of times he’s posted on here.

Kane cost us nothing. That 100m is all bonus. In a season where we are getting no CL money and have lost 150m or so on stadium being empty. There are a bunch of players, in this market we could have spent that money on. Todibo, Sangare, Stengs, Kessie (just off the top of my head) and still had 50m left over to spend.

So now we still need two RB’s, a CB, a couple of CM’s, and a couple of attackers.

That 100m, if used wisely could have very much helped us rebuild.

I don't think its Spurs tinted googles, his price is a reflection on his value to us, what he will give City and the market. Lukaku and Grealish for £100m a piece, reflects Kane is worth more. The sad thing is, we can sign all the other players we want but we will not find another 20-25 goal a season striker. I think we did the correct thing, he will be gone next summer for probably £75-100m, barring any injuries.

Madrid offered that cause Mbappe is free next year, if he had 3 years left it would have been a derisory offer.

The athletic are really hit and miss when it comes to reporting. The fact is they have to produce content so people subscribe but half their articles are a load of horse 💩. The problem with 24/7 journalism is that they run out of things to say so they start filling the news with crap .
